We bought this bug zapper because we have a problem with midges in the summer. We used a much smaller one before, but it broke. We used this one for one entire midge season inside a small cabin and it works so much better than the old little one. Midges are attracted to the light and to hear a little combustion noise when the are 'fried up' is a great satisfaction. It greatly eradicates the little beasts inside the room in no time. It is also very easy to clean. The only downside I would say is the short cable. I din't know why they couldn't have attached a longer cord. So it needs to be close to a plug hole or use an extension lead.

This has been a real help over the summer and autumn, effectively killing off all the bugs in the kitchen and house. Easy to use and clean out, great performance and I now have it set up on a timer each evening where is sorts out anything that may have got in. It was particularly useful when some fruit flies made themselves at home in some of my tomatoes while I was ripening them in the windowsill.

The one star is because it works. The lack of additional stars is because it failed after six months. I eventually purchased a new bulb but it wouldn’t work. Interestingly there at least one review that said the same thing. So one star for being a working product but too expensive for 6 months use, which, coincidentally is 6 months short of the statutory 1 year quack, quack oops.

Works best in the dark when the bugs are attracted to the light. I wanted it for zapping flies during the day but useless for that. However when it does kill an insect it makes quite a loud noise. Made me jump the first time.

I very rarely with you items on Amazon, despite the amount of products I buy on the site, which is a bit cheeky because I use the reviews to decide if I should buy a product! However, I felt I had to review this amazing product, because it for exceeded my expectations and Wanted to let other people know if they were thinking about buying it to just go ahead and do it! For £25 I didn’t really think it was gonna do a great job though it has, as the photo will hopefully prove! This is how many of the little buggers it caught in two weeks! The most satisfying sound is when you hear the zap as it gets that pesky beggar that’s been flying around bothering you! LOL

When plugged in initially it ‘zapped’ many times and still does from time to time, however the only thing in tray is a few tiny flies. It sparked once and there was a little smoke so I can’t leave it on at night. I had left it on at night before this but it still didn’t the average houseflies. The power cord is also quite short so putting it up high, as suggested, is not an option.

Great fly zapper. The bulb that comes with this is quite good and bright and attracts plenty of pesky little flys. The only issue I have had is that the bulb blew after only 1 week, so I've had to replace the bulb. Very quiet unit, leaves no smell and overall id say its good value for money.

Subito 5 stelle perché appena messa in corrente nella posizione dove si vede in foto, una zanzara si è fiondata dentro per farsi bruciare. Mentre lavoravo sentivo altri schioppettii. Non sembra attirare farfalle o altro ma comunque funziona al 100% e fa anche una bella luce esteticamente.

Muy útil para ir de camping y que los mosquitos no te coman a picaduras.

Il y a quelques années j'avais des appareils insecticides d'élevage. Très efficaces, mais le problème est qu'ils troublent la vision. Je voyais tout en vert-fluo. Je n'ai pas ce problème avec cette lampe-là. Elle fonctionne très bien, élimine les visiteurs indésirables, de jour comme de nuit. Les bruits relativement discrets d'électrocutions ne me dérangent pas. Pas d'odeur. Peu encombrante et sans danger pour mes chats. Je recommande vivement cet article ! MERCI !
