Fun walkie talkies
Works great and tested them a mile away from each other!

Locking volume and channel feature!
Super easy to get started with right away. Very loud audio, able to lock the controls, including the volume. This prevents accidentally turning them down or changing the channel. Excellent sound quality and they feel very rugged and easy for the kids to use! I bought two sets!

Works okay, but CHARGING CRADLE WAS MISSING. Be cautious about that.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The walkie talkies are okay and do the trick -- but were missing the charging cradle. Only got the double charging cord. Would like to have had the cradle, which was advertised as part of the package. But other than that (getting ripping off), the walkie talkies do the trick.

Excellent for keeping a hiking group in touch.
In sequoia park gave sustainable, clear connection up to about a mile and was usable to about mile and a half. That was perfect for keeping in touch a group of hikers on an 8 mile trail.Did not need any charge for the entire 3 day trip.For $10 per radio it's good enough for me.

Bought as a toy for m kids, would not rely on it
bought it for my kid to play with her friends. Just wanted something license free and usb chargeable. It does both. Sound quality is rough but doable. If I needed radios for important communication, I would choose a different product. For the price, its good for kids.
