Worth the money
Amazing radios at such a great price. Just got them and have been playing with them, tons of features. Not sure how long the batteries last but they still had 2/3 of a full charge from factory so that bodes well, you can charge them with a car charger so you don't need a cradle plugged into a wall, plus you can pop out the li battery and use 3 aa batteries in a pinch so throw a pack in your camping bag in case. It can pick up transmissions from way farther than my last ones. It has the weather channels which is nice. Also not only does it have both types of privacy settings it can also scan them for you so you don't have to go through them manually anymore. Other cool features are it has a flashlight i didn't know about, regular and strobe, also if you press and hold the button it has siren mode which is loud and flashing, which I can see being helpful if you camp with your kids or a friend that drinks too much beer and gets lost on the way to the bathroom alot. Overall I really like them and am glad I bought them, oh, don't forget to take out the clear pull tab on the batteries.

Good value
Are they perfect? No. But for the price, they work very well. Great, low-cost option for short range communication. I like how they are rechargeable with a USB cable. Usually we use these for road trips where we have 2 cars traveling together, so charging them in the car is quite handy.

better than many blister pack radios
They work good, battery life is ok, they are cheap to buy. Range is not the greatest for an frs radio but good enough compared to similar priced options. Sound quality is clearer than many other options I dealth with in the past, when in range it comes in fairly clear.

These work well
Perfect for keeping up with the kids while hiking or exploring. Good range and durable. Kids love 'em and they can figure them out easily. No batteries to worry about just plug them in and they are ready for the next adventure.

Worked like I hoped it would
I bought this set of walkies to share with a family in another car. We each could keep in touch with each other (regarding bathroom, snack and gas station breaks) on out trip to Death Valley to see the Milky Way. Cell service is unavailable in some stretches so we kept the USB plugged in and these worked as hoped for. Great price and adequate reception. No worries about batteries. Very easy to use. Voices were clear, if not a little scratchy sometimes due to distance. I recommend and purchased a second set.

Useless because battery drains even when powered off
At first, I had assumed it was only a problem with one of the provided rechargeable battery packs because I would fully charge before bed and it would be dead when I check it in the morning. The other walkie talkie would have its battery last around 2 days before dying. I instead tried using normal AA batteries, and after a week, with the walkie talkie was turned off the whole time, it is also dead. I didn't notice any issues with sound when using them, but since I can't rely on them to work for more than a few hours after being fully charged (even when turned off for that time), they are not useful for any situation that would need a walkie talkie.

They’re cheaper than a case of beer!!
People say, ‘You get what you pay for!’ I got these walkie talkies for use at home. Just wanted a cheap unit hoping it’ll work in my complex. I tried it out and was totally surprised at the clarity at my apartment’s furthest edge to my apartment! I took it a step further and walked nearly 2 blocks and the quality was great! Actually farther than I planned to use it so I’m very satisfied with the purchase! I could probably have walked further, but it wasn’t necessary. This is perfect for kiddos, and my old butt finds it very useful! I could see using it at COSCO or someplace huge to locate the people who came with you! THE PRICE!! $20 for both of ‘em’ That’s $10 each! Not a bad choice at all!

Yup, these are the ones. A+
Just got back from a 3 day camping trip and they worked PERFECTLY! We went to Hume Lake, Cali. Boys went out on the kayaks and we were able to communicate with them with NO static, crystal clear every time. Picked up other conversations but an easy fix by changing the channel, 20 to choose from. Left with full charge and came back with almost full charge (pictured). We were careful to only turn on when in use. We used them roughly a mile and a half away and I have no doubt they'd reach they're full distance potential. They're not bulky, perfect size to walk around with. Double charge cord makes it easy to charge both at same time. I definitely recommend these.
