Great for cabinet windows, terrible utility knife
Wife and I got tired of looking at all the cables and do-dads we had hiding in the living room cabinets, so we purchased this (NA20). I pre-cut the sections to make things easier, and we were able to finish 8 windows in about 45 minutes. This was PERFECT, and looks great in the living room. You can still faintly see light through it (red is the most apparent), but it blocks things enough to where itโs not distracting. Super easy to cut, but do NOT use the knife they include or youโll be tearing the film; we used a Husky utility knife from the HD we already had lying around and it took care of it with no issue. It also sticks really well, so work quickly; it can be re-positioned, but make sure you re-spray the area when re-applying. Last piece of advice is to be really careful when using tape to pull the film off, or when separating the layers in general: any creases or accidental bends will be stuck on the film after you place it. Only time will tell if those folds will diminish as things dry out.

COOL...literally and figuratively
Absolutely cooled off my south facing door window which boiled our front door everyday. Perfect amount of darkness from inside out and very cool reflective privacy from outside in. There is a little learning curve with tint, so watch some videos and make sure you keep your prep clean - I used baby shampoo and water in a spray bottle. I actually purchased a separate tint application tool kit and absolutely did not need it as the blade and squeegee they provide will get the job done. I attached 2 pics, one from inside looking out and you can see the clarity is excellent without any haze or distortion or weird purple color. The other pic is from outside in (reflective), you cannot even tell my door is open. I am super happy with this product and will likely consider it for automotive use.

Easy to Install, Not Much Heat Reduction
I thought this film was easy to work with and install. I have previously applied static film, which was probably a good choice for a practice run, so certainly not a pro but have a little experience at least that I think helped. A couple big things for installing, there's no such thing as applying too much of the water/soap mix. The more you add, the better from what I have found. A big, big thing too is really make sure your window surfaces are clean. I clean them, then take a scraper lightly scrape off anything that didn't come up with general cleaning. I use an air can to get any dirt out of the edges because the soap mix will drag any loose dirt hiding in there. As far as the looks, I really like it. I was a little worried it might make it look too dark outside from the inside, but not at all. It cuts down the light a bit, but not much and I actually like that it is a little dimmer. It's perfectly clear to see out, no blurriness or anything like some other films can give. Big thing is you can't really see in when you're outside. I work from home with a window right on the sidewalk leading up to our front door, and hated when people would come up and if they glanced in as they passed, they could see me, so I felt awkward not answering because they knew I was in there haha. With this on, you have to get right up to the window and peek in to see, so someone just walking past can't see anymore. Obviously at night when the light is on, that's a different story, they can see in just fine, but I never could figure out why people expect that to be any different and complain about it. As far as heat reduction, I would say there's very little if anything, so that was disappointing. I live in Arizona and the morning sun beats in on the room I work from. By 10am it's a hotbox in there, and this didn't reduce it at all. With films that do cut down on heat, usually the window itself will be really hot, since it's basically catching all the heat, but away from the window really won't be. Not with this, I can feel the heat if I stand where the sun is coming in even a few feet away from the window, so I don't think it knocks it down at all. But, I got it more for the privacy, and that I am happy with. And satisfied with the ease of installation.

Read all the directions first!
I bought this window screen material to give me privacy in my garage... it does keep prying eyes out, and still allows some sunlight in. Kind of difficult to install, and the measuring has to be almost precise. The film can tear if the blade isn't sharp enough. Also, it was tricky getting the back film off so the sticky side could be applied. But after a bit, there is a trick to it. (They did put it in the directions; I just read it a bit late!) Once in place, I am so glad it's done and it works!

Installation just as should be
I liked it. Really everything about it. Using the Dawn/Water mixture and plenty of it is critical. Make sure the glass is clean; I used a razor scraper to get tiny deposits off as well so as to not become source of bubbles. Using plenty of spray solution provides time to do the job right. Slow wins the race

Looks great and hubby did it with no problems at all.
This film far surpasses the last film ( by another company) that began peeling off in the corners within the first few months. The Sun Control Natural Black 20 lets in plenty of light, but looks dark from outside. Even in the desert here, with the garage facing West, it helps quite a bit. We are very happy with the look, and for the price through Amazon, we got a much better deal that if we had gone local with a big box hardware store.

Tinted film
Easy to install. If it's a large area to cover, I recommend having two people apply the film to the window. I am very satisfied with this product. I tinted my patio doors and the result is identical to the windows tinted by the manufacturer of my RV. We love it.
