My go to breakfast is a green smoothie. However, my old Ninja just wasn't handling leafy greens, seeds or frosen fruits very well. It was also very difficult to clean and both my husband and I have nicked our fingers trying to do so. This blender is wonderful. It's strong enough to create the suction/vortex effect that makes the Vitamix so powerful. My smoothies come out with no chunks and a thick, fluffy consistency. A 10 second spin of water with a drop of dishwashing liquid is enough to clean it easily between uses. The lid seems a little bit flimsy and when full, the jar rattles around a bit disturbingly. Since I use this for single servings only, it hasn't been a problem. This is a great machine for the price point.

We love it! Not as powerful as the nicer models but it still impressively handles frozen food, coffee beans, avocado seeds or whatever else I throw in it.

This blender will blend anything and everything. Slight cavitation problem on milkshakes, may need a tamper. I love this blender! Blendtec makes the best blender!

I've tried many blenders but this is the best for green smoothies not too many can tackle Kale.
