I am impressed with this product. To get organic millet at this price is wonderful. It cooks up perfectly, soft and tender without turning to mush, which indicates to me that it is fresh. There are no off flavors, so I can add herbs and spices in small amounts to enhance the flavor instead of trying to hide it. I am a cost-conscious shopper, so to find a product that exceeds my expectations at such a great price is a huge win for me.

Not raw it has been cooked
This millet is not raw it has been parboiled therefore you are buying dead food. No one should buy it. Plus it can't be returned or refunded.

Parboiled Foxtail millet minus the protein
This product is parboiled, so the protein content is minuscule. No where on the website is mentioned that the grain is parboiled. I am extremely disappointed since I can’t even return the unopened bag.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MILLET
I would give 0 stars for this if I could. I love millet. This the the nastiest millet. Smells and tastes like mildew or something. Spit it out immediately when tasting. I had washed it like other millets so wasn’t that. BEWARE! I wrote Jiva Organics and was told this wasn’t their product.
