We had a glass kettle from a leading brand with fancy blue lighting. After the fancy lights failed and the glass got scratched with the sharp metal inside the badly designed lid and the handle became wobbly we decided to try this model as an alternative. Positives: * Seems very well made - nice solid feel to the handle. * Very light, strong stainless steel. * Good lid, hinged and clicks into place reassuringly. * Boils a mug full of water (300ml) in just over 1 minute. * Pours well. * No plastic in direct contact with the boiling water. * Great value. Might be negatives to some people: 1. Lower power than a fast boil. We wanted a lower power as we tend to boil smaller quantities and our electricity comes from a solar inverter so this is less of a load and places less strain on the system. The lower wattage means it will take twice as long as a 3kW kettle. A couple of mugs of water will be about two and a half minutes. 2. No way of seeing how full it is with lid closed. In the past we have found those plastic tubes that show the level of the water end up leaking. If you want to save time and money simply empty the cup / teapot of cold water into this kettle and you should be spot in with no fancy fill level tube to leak.

I ordered a full size travel kettle before from Amazon, and it was awful- the thing started smoking even though it wasn’t plugged in and hadn’t been for days. Anyhow, I needed a new one. I have a kettle downstairs, but when I’m going to bed I like to have one on my bedside unit for convienence when I want to make a hot water bottle. I have a 2l hot water bottle and some of the smaller ones weren’t that big, fortunately this one was, and the price is very fair too. It boils in around two minutes which is quicker than my glass one downstairs, and has is a nice brushed stainless steel finish. The lid pops off with a button and it’s dead easy to refill. I will say the brushed steel means it’s not as light as plastic, but I am not using it for travel so that’s fine by me. It’s definitely a lot smarter than the plastic and doesn’t look as cheap and tacky. If you struggle to lift heavy kettles, it’s definitely not as heavy as a glass one, so you should be fine. The light in it is bright enough so it’s obvious when it’s boiled and ready to pour. Only flaw is the wire for it is very short, so I need to lift my extender on the bed to actually get it boiling. I don’t think this would be too much of a bother in a kitchen where the plug sockets tend to be near a kettle, but something to watch out for if your socket is a distance away. The base is very flimsy, so be careful when it boils as the base does shake. For £14 it’s a steal and I would buy again.

Great kettle fairly quiet too descent quality and a good price

Item has a design/manufacturing fault. A cable within the kettle short circuited and became so hot it melted through the base of the kettle and into the spigot base. See pictures. Thankfully I spotted the smoke and burning smell, and disconnected the kettle. I contacted the manufacturer about the issue, but received no response. Amazon refunded me without issue, but I think this item is inherently unsafe.

I purchased this kettle on March,10 2025 fro Amazon. It performed well enough although it was a little slow and somewhat noisy. Recently after about 8 months of use, the kettle will not switch off, the handle is very hot to touch and somewhat dangerous. I have contacted Geepas and await their solution.

Good product

A great budget friendly kettle. I bought this for after surgery to have upstairs when I wasn’t able to move around as much. Made myself a little beverage area! Worked well. The kettle is compact, lightweight whilst empty with a lid for filling on the top which is easy to open and close. It comes in silver with black base and handles which are plastic as is the lid. There is an indication light when kettle is switched on but no level visible on the outside. It’s easy to use and I used it consistently for a few weeks. It comes with ample cord length too. A really good value kettle, not the best looking kettle but for a spare or for an area where looks are not needed it does the job!!

The ✅ of the product: ✔️ Stainless steel, not plastic ✔️ Good build quality ✔️ Easy to clean, but I would not cook in it. ✔️ Can boil your water for a quick two cups of tea under 3 minutes. ✔️ three pin common port, you would be surprised how many kettle companies think grounding pin is not required. Glad that is not the case here. ✔️1.8 liters, 1500W just as mentioned in the product description. ✔️ Auto shut down works Product ⛔ s: ❌ the steel does get hot, always use the handle to not burn yourself. ❌auto shut down kicks in after a while, I think it kicks in when 1.8 L of water would boil. 1,8 of course being the maximum limit. ❌ there is no filter when pouring, only small holes. Note: ⚠️ the plastic lid on the top gets hot as well, so be careful while opening after using it 💬 In conclusion: pretty decent kettle, decent volume and lightweight. filters could be added, hence the 4 stars. kettle is fantatstic, i got it on a cheap round for 11 euros, and im still loving it alot, it is great buy

Stopped working after 2 weeks

Pay 5 more bucks and get the better one. This one is not too bad, it works but cheap quality and slow a bit.

Unfortunately it stopped working after 2 months.

Took ages to boil ,water kept dripping from lid got into element and blew its fuse
