I'm very happy with this camera. It was very simple to set up. I bought a high-capacity SD card and set to continuous record. It takes ages to get to max capacity, and then it overwrites. There's no need for cloud storage at all. If an intruder got to the camera, it's really is too late anyway. You can access the camera over the web directly using the app to see either live or recorded video. I set sensitivity to low and for people detection only. Alerts come to my phone almost immediately.

A very good camera, very easy to install, the app is very clear and concise to understand. Very good images. The only one negative is the length of the cable, it isn't long enough to reach plug. Was a bit wary of purchasing another cable in case it overheated, as the product is required to stay on permanently. Product came with 2 cameras, I'm only using one due to concerns about purchasing another cable.

These are brilliant, I was a little apprehensive at first but I am so pleased with them and just for new people to this product, don’t forget to buy a micro SD card for it so you can store videos and snapshots

Mine didn't work faulty goods hopeless return system. No matter what I tried they just wouldnt light up or turn on tried several cables since ones included didnt work

They are okay. The user interface needs a bit of work but even remotely, it connects without issue and is reasonably fast to review footage. The night time colour is impressive for the price. I live on a main road so this is working 24/7 and hasn’t failed or struggled once. Overall I’d recommend. It’s just the UI takes some getting used to

This camera was a breeze to set up. The image is good, and customer support is fantastic! Very good value for money. Out of the box, it does not support your NVR (RTSP or ONVIF - but they're working on that). A simple email to their customer support (I emailed Saturday morning and within an hour had a useful response). I use the SecuritySpy NVR software with 20 cameras, so naturally I wanted a window camera that would easily integrate. I emailed Girafit support asking for RTSP support so that I could use it with SecuritySpy. Within 2 hours they had updated the firmware of my camera and it works flawlessly - better than some other brands I use with SecuritySpy NVR software. Here are the instructions for getting your Girafit Window Camera to work with an NVR: Once you have your camera powered up and added via the Girafit iphone app, email or chat with online support, which can be accessed from the Help menu in the Girafit app. They will ask you for a the model number and the Device ID. The model number is on the box and the Device ID can be found by selecting your camera in the App. You will see on your phone what the camera is viewing. Click the "..." on the top right of the image to go to "Device Settings". You must ask them for the firmware update to support RTSP in that email or chat. On this screen, scroll down to see the "General" icon (cog). Tap that. On the "General Settings" screen, tap the "About Device". That will give you the information that you need to provide the support at Girafit. They will respond with an email containing instructions. You'll need to wait about 2 hours after you receive that email. They will "push" the firmware upgrade to your camera. Once you have the new firmware, you will have to configure SecuritySpy to connect to it. Here are the settings you will need or it will not work: Device Type / Profile: manual Address: The IP address of your camera - also in the Device Info screen of your Girafit iPhone app. Format: RTSP Port: Leave blank Manual profile path: live0 for the first stream or live1 for the second stream* Username: admin Password: The password that you used when you set up your Girafit account when installing the iPhone app * Note, different cameras may have different profile paths. If live0/live1 do not work with your Girafit camera, try live/ch0.

Als je dit product koopt, weet dan dat er geen Nederlandse stekkers bij worden geleverd. Het product is gemaakt in China voor de Amerikaanse markt met Amerikaanse (USA) stekkers. De plug and play en easy install klopt niet! Want je moet of alles weer terugsturen of zelf twee Nederlandse 5v 1A stekkers kopen om het product te kunnen gebruiken. Het product staat bij mij hierdoor met 2-0 achter.

Not night vision as advertised

I bought 2 cameras but 1 of them stopped working after 2 days. And now trying to return/ ask for refund for 1 camera. The picture/ image is actually good, its clear and the night vision is great..
