Easy to handle
Love the tool so far, been using it for 3days. It’s easy to control and definitely heats up well. All the tools are great but we don’t have any use for them. We also have the porter cable heat gun and I actually like this better but I think the porter cable has a higher fan setting. But great heat gun for window tint and vinyl.

Just tried this heat gun.
The heat gun just arrived and seemed to work just fine. I especially liked the ability to adjust both the heat temperature and the speed of the fan using the controls and display on the back of the unit. It should be very useful. The only slight negative is that the power cord is shorter than my late, lamented heat gun. In all other ways, it surpasses that model.

Seems like this setting seemed to be right spot on the fan works very nice and the divert or seem to be very hopeful in spreading the heat I like this gun at has plenty of heat and distribution for plastic jobs kayaks and front fenders and such The only drawback is the does not come with a case witch means I could lose my nozzles

Does not heat up properly
Not only did it failed to heat up properly even at high temperatures, but it also took a considerable amount of time to do so. I was attempting to bend PETG at its glass transition temperature set on the heat gun. It didn't work. The PETG material I was working with only became malleable over 300 degrees Celsius past its melting point as set on this heat gun. Meaning the gun was not heating up properly. Maybe I received a defective model, but even that puts into question the manufacturing standards of this model. I wish I could get a refund. See images attached for proof of this heat gun not even reaching advertised power consumption at peak settings.

Many functions do not work
Finally got to put this to use and several features do not work. No matter how long you hold the two fan speed buttons down it will not switch to Fahrenheit , second on the low setting I could not adjust the temperature at all, only on the high setting. Cheap controls, will be looking for another heat gun.

SeekOne is not a product company, and it shows in this heat gun.
It’s hard to separate the pleasure of having our first heat gun - very useful - and strengths/weaknesses of this model. It is nice to be able to set temperature and fan speed, but I’m dubious of the accuracy. It does seem to heat quickly, and I’ve removed paint, shrink fit electrical parts & tubing, and heated to form fit conduit. The control buttons are chintzy, and lack of real documentation in any form concerning. There is no “SeekOne” company website or help desk to turn to; this appears to be Amazon private label, like buying house brand toilet paper at your grocer. Only, toilet paper can’t burn down your house, or botch $100 worth of parts. These things haven’t happened, but I think I’d pay more next time and get a reputable tool brand. Having a great order fulfillment supply chain capability is not the same as being a great engineering and product company - which Amazon is not.
