Pros:-It's awesome!-Big!-Function actually works.-Price is reasonable.-Build quality is excellent.Cons:-Because it's hard plastic and not foam, this could hurt if you got bonked with it. (So don't do that.)-Conversion doesn't always work as intended and requires your assistance.Final thoughts:This is fun. Silly as can be, but a lot of fun. One button press and a swing, and you go from sword to axe or vice versa. The button needs to be pressed down the entire time so the sliding mechanism can land in place and latch. (Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't, and you need to push it all the way. Don't force it, you'll break it.)It's vibrant and colorful, and the blues really pop. (Especially the translucent blue pieces of the blade.)It's surprisingly heavy for a plastic toy of this type. Not so heavy that the kid can't carry it, but heavy enough to catch you off guard. (Because of this, you can't swing it around and hit things, you'll break them and the axe/sword. You could hurt someone.)Overall, I think this is surprisingly good. My son absolutely adores this. Loved the movie, loves the toy. Highly recommended.

This was an impulse order, to convince my nieces and nephews that I'm cool.... and it worked!I left it sticking out of my purse the other day when I got home, all casual, like I'm always carrying around pickaxes and swords. My nephew spotted it first and was so excited! He wanted to know where I got it, told him I'd been mining some diamonds in the next town over, must have forgotten it in my purse when I left the mine for the day. Told him it was one of the good ones, too, cuz if a creeper sneaks up on ya you can turn it into a sword asap, no problem.We practiced to see how fast we could switch it to a sword, and then we took it outside to practice fighting creepers and skeletons (on shrubs, mostly, but also a tire swing and a half deflated football.)The plastic and colors look great! It's accurate to the game, and it held up fantastically to our shrubbery enemies. It switches shape to shape easily, both a 5 year old and 9 year old had no problems changing it.Great toy, easily worth 5 stars for the Cool Auntie points it earned me today, and the fun we had slashing and stabbing at imaginary enemies.

Super cool toy for any Minecraft lover! Easy for kids (Mine are 8 and 4) to transform it from sword to axe. Its actually pretty neat how its designed to do that. My kids have enjoyed it for hours of play. Highly recommend! Feels durable and high-quality.

Great toy. Instead of having a pick and sword taking up space, this one toy fits both roles and also lets the kids run around with just one tool and transform it to fit whatever they're imagining at the time. It has a little button to unlock the handle moving and one side is blue for diamond while the other is brown for wood.

My 8yo (and his dad!) are huge MC fans, and can’t wait for the movie to come out. My son absolutely loved receiving this sword and is having a blast with it.
