Playtex Women's Wireless Bra, 18 Hour Bras for Women 4693, Full Coverage, Smoothing, Single Or 2-Pack (Plus Sizes, Too) Bra (Pack of 2)

Wow! This is quite a bra. Had to wait a while as it came from N.J. in America... "Look!" I'd said to my OH. "New Jersey!" "Really?," he said. "Thought it was New Bra." It's certainly a sturdy bra. Fits like a glove. But.... and here's the thing. It's a strong bra, so if you're between sizes, go for the next size up as the under band might be a bit tight, it's important to measure yourself under your boobs accurately. Ordinary bras are a bit more forgiving. Cup sizing is perfect. Strong, properly padded straps are really comfortable, don't slip. There is some leeway for adjustment, but not enough for bouncing around, and is unobtrusive under tops and tees. Full coverage keeps everything safely gathered in while giving uplift and shape. Wide side panels that stretch, but keep you well supported. Four hook and eye fastenings at the back in three positions for maximum comfort. Good, wide band under the bust, really comfortable, no ride-up, but for maximum comfort you'll need to have measured properly. The construction is polyester, with some nylon, some spandex, interlined with cotton in the banding. Beautifully made. Big, fully supportive and comfortable, but very light to wear. Hand wash, hang up to dry. This is a big, beautiful bra. Bridget Jones would go crazy for this. Buy it and wear it with your granny pants. Steal the show.

After 30+ years collecting and wearing vintage clothes I've bought the first bra which gives me the right shape to fit into those high darts. (Duh, I don't know what I was thinking all that time.) What a revelation! It's the gateway drug of vintage bras! It looks right - a bit pointy and very perky - but it's nothing like as extreme as a bullet bra. Compared to minimisers, which send your breasts toward your armpits, this pushes you up and out, so you end up with a bust a bit like Barbie's. It may feel a bit odd if you're used to a different distribution of flesh. My breasts are completely clear of my arms and armpits, but they stick out in front, which feels and looks unusual as you go about your day. My eyes keep seeing my bosoms in front of me coming from a part of my chest where there's usually fresh air. If you're used to underwires, the comfort will be a revelation. I got tired of my underwires moving and poking and eventually becoming misshapen from all my fiddling about with them. You can't imagine how nothing but soft fabric can achieve the same effect (better really), but it does. The lovely soft straps are a fabulous triumph of function over form (the opposite of your usual bra) just as you would imagine. If you wear it under a t-shirt you may find the seams show, but like all bras it may be a matter of horses for courses. Don't throw out your t-shirt bra if you like that effect, but wear this under everything else. I'm now obsessed with this kind of seamed bra and am experimenting with longline bras, which give you the Barbie waist as well as the Barbie bosom. What a wonderful world. :-)

Lovely traditional design and fit, but not for 18 hours without adjusting the straps fairly regularly. Certainly more comfortable than the more modern bra designs. Having quite a full bust I found this a little on the small side, but does provide the support that I need.

The bra meet my expectations. It’s really a good support bra.

So I ordered this going by my bra measurement from measuring using the method given by the ABraThatFits subreddit and it fit perfectly, the price for that size bra was also great, it was delivered earlier than expected, its really really comfortable, everything about it is perfect ..... except that it makes my breasts a really strange shape, I am really used to wearing bras that give a lot of lift and separation, this does not do that at all, nada, it makes my breasts look like the 1950s pointy style, if that is what you like then this is perfect for you, but it is not very flattering on me, and despite it being literally the only bra I own that actually fits me, I don't think i'll be wearing it if I am leaving the house. (I will probably wear it every minute I am inside the house though)

Great item trest fit

although I have used the white version of these bras for several years, this black one broke the first time I wore it! the top "eye" on the hook and eye fastening broke and could no longer be worn.

Looked good., the comfort strap particularly, but no way could I pull it together round me . I tried backwards, forwards and even at waist level so I never got the chance to check the cup fit or the comfort strap. I had ordered several others of different makes and they all fit well. Very disappointed.

Very well made, and super easy to put on when you can't reach backwards!

My first front-closure bra is a huge hit. The front-closure saves my bad shoulders when putting it on. The back cross-feature adds comfort and stability and may even help my posture a bit. I'm not yanking at it all day pulling it down. It covers all the important stuff for a plus-size woman. Overall, I'm quite pleased. Size 46B.

My item didn’t come on time so I contacted the seller. They replied within one day!! I now have my item and I love this garment. It is comfortable and gives me the back support that I need. Price is a little bit higher than if I buy it at Walmart, but I was able to get the item in black, which is worth the extra money!! Highly recommend this product if you need that extra lift and support in your back.
