These toilet seat hinge mounts worked great and are absolutely the best way to keep the seat secured to the bowl without ever having to worry again about the seat working its way loose and sliding of your toilet seat some time in the middle of the night.

I recently installed an American Standard Cadet (excellent toilet btw) and was watching a YouTube video on the sliding toilet seat issue. The gent in video explained the problem…plastic screws and bolts provided do not have sufficient friction to hold seat over time…and recommended this product. Rubber housing went in easily in holes with a little soap as recommended in video. Line up the seat and tighten with #3 Phillips. I always tighten by hand and I am careful not to overtighten. The plastic round washers provided fit fine in seat cap housing and the caps on the American Standard Seat close easily on this retrofit. If you have a different brand of toilet, the installed screw heads may be too high to close the caps, or you may not need this kit at all. For example, I also have a more expensive double piston Kohler toilet and the seat is never an issue. The seat bolts are plastic but they apparently have a catch mechanism in the bolt underneath to keep the screws secure. One other thing worth mentioning, I am looking to replace a third toilet, possibly considering and entry level Toto, and I noticed that this kit is very similar to the standard install for a Toto toilet seat.

They worked great

I thought I’ve been doing something wrong for years. Even replaced my toilet seat, nope. It was still happening. I’d be slippin’ & slidin’ all over the place. I watched a guy on YouTube and he recommended these. I bought them RIGHT AWAY! I’ve never been so excited to receive screws! It’s been weeks and absolutely no movement of the toilet seat. I am incredibly happy with this purchase! It came with another set, I hope I never have to use that second set. I didn’t use the plastic pieces it came with and it still worked perfect. Most definitely worth the money!

Make sure you know the size of the hole on toilet to fit the rubber fixtures. Universal doesn't mean it fits everything.

Ho tribulato non poco per montare il copri water, i tassello forniti erano troppo corti per la mia tazza. Con questi tasselli di gomma ho montato tutto in 3 minuti, fanno un ottimo attrito già di suo con la gomma sulla ceramica e una volta tirati bene non si muovono Ottimi

La solution magique qui évite d avoir des écrous rondelles etc qui se dessérent à chaque fois au fil du temps La charnière se place facilement, caoutchouc qui s'adapte facilement sans glisser ensuite... Bref génial
