Manucurist Rescue Kit Nail Care Kit for Damaged Nails

This photo doesn’t look like much to most. But for me, it’s a huge victory. My paper thin nails tend to split vertically. For a long time, I had kept them cut well below the quick in an effort to get below the split, so as they grew they could be whole. YEARS of paper thin, week, peeling nails, and MONTHS of continuous splitting that I couldn’t get to stop. Desperation had me try Manicurist. It’s not cheap, and I had to be faithful with a plan of care - alternating between keratin treatment with SOS base, remove with non-acetone (manicurist remover is wonderful too!), mask, and repeat. I added in the Active Glow Raspberry and Active Bright for variety. MY NAILS ARE NOW HEALTHY. It took time- one week is not enough. More like 2 months to see good progress and change in the strength of my nails. No, they are not “hard as nails” or indestructible. But they are not paper thin. They hold good structure and even without a coat of Manicurist, they are healthy in appearance and how they feel [only people who have nails literally as thin as paper understand they hurt!].

When I purchased this nail kit, my nails were really weak and splitting I’m on day 4 of a 2 week regimen and I already see a gradual improvement in the strength of my nails. So happy I started this routine.

I really wanted to love this product because it seemed to work at first. After two treatments, my nails had grown, felt stronger, and looked healthier. Since I'd read that two treatments was the recommended maximum, I stopped there and switched to the company's gel polish. Unfortunately, about four to five weeks later, every single one of my fingernails started peeling—badly. It wasn't just one or two nails; all of them were affected, and the peeling has been severe. Everyone's experience may be different, but mine was incredibly disappointing. I was excited by the initial results, only to end up with nails that are in much worse shape than before I started. Because of that, I can't recommend this treatment.

I absolutely adore this kit, I personally like base coat the best out of the bunch, it's incredibly comfortable and easy to use. The overnight polish is also very nice and nourishing, all in all a solid kit.

The product does work but for me more saving my nails from being horrific. I have not experienced growth like others but I have experienced a strong nail. Easy to use and the mask is cool!

Started using after getting rid of gel nails. My nails were so weak and brittle. Have been using this as per the directions and already are looking better. Am waiting on the damaged nails to grow out but are already looking less dry and weak.

So far am really liking this. My nails saw so much damage from gel and dip manicures. They are a work in progress but this has really helped. Worth the cost.

Ho provato diversi prodotti per le unghie, ma nessuno ha funzionato, tranne manucurist. Avevo unghie davvero deboli dovuti a Semipermanente, sfaldate. 2 mesi fa ho iniziato il trattamento: ogni 2 giorni base sos, ogni giorno l’olio per rinforzare e una volta alla settimana tolgo la base sos dall’unghia e metto la maschera per le unghie che tengo tutta la notte e tiro via la mattina sfilando la pellicola che si crea nell’unghia. Queste sono le mie unghie oggi, dopo 2 mesi di trattamento, sono forti e non più sfaldate, mai avute così forti in vita mia (nonostante ciò non nego che con una botta forte l’unghia si spezzi) ma è impressionante perché finalmente un prodotto che funziona. L’unica cosa che mi viene da dire di “negativo” è che quando metto la maschera l’indomani non riesco a tirare via la pellicola che si è asciugata… è come se non ci fosse niente da togliere, ho provato a metterne di più ma a volte c’era la pellicola altre no. Però consiglio. Voto 9/10

Ich habe das Rescue Kit bestellt, weil meine Nägel und die Nagelhaut nach Nagelfolien etc. leider sehr beschädigt und brüchig waren. (Bild 1) Schon nach einer Woche sind die Schäden viel weniger geworden (Bild 2) und meine Nägel wachsen wieder gesund nach. Die Kur habe ich wie folgt und nach der Anleitung von Manucurist gemacht: Tag 1: - Nägel kurz feilen, Nagelhaut zurückschieben, ggf. vorsichtig abschneiden. - Nägel mit acetonfreiem Nagellackentferner reinigen. - Masque S.O.S. am Abend in einer etwas dickeren Schicht auftragen. Bei mir hat sie gut 30 Minuten zum Trocknen gebraucht. Wichtig: Danach nicht mehr Händewaschen, sonst geht sie ab. Tag 2: - Masque S.O.S. Am nächsten Morgen mit warmem Wasser und Seife abwaschen. Das Abziehen funktioniert auch, braucht aber länger, da es (bei mir) nicht ohne Pinzette ging. Wenn die oberste Nagelschicht beschädigt ist, würde ich in jedem Fall das Abwaschem empfehlen, weil es sehr schonend ist. Ergebnis nach der Maske: Der Nagel ist schön matt, die Rillen und brüchigen Stellen sind weniger zu sehen. - Base S.O.S in einer dünnen Schicht auftragen, 15 Minuten trocknen lassen. - Abends vor dem Schlafen jeweils 1 Tropfen Huile verte pro Finger auf die Nagelhaut und sanft einmassieren. Tag 3: - Morgens und abends Huile verte verwenden. (Da ich sehr trockene Haut habe, habe ich es zwei Mal täglich verwendet.) Tag 4: - 1 dünne Schicht Base S.O.S. auftragen. Die alte Schicht wird NICHT abgenommen. - Abends Huile verte auftragen. Tag 5: - wie Tag 3 Tag 6: - Abends Base S.O.S. mit acetonfreiem Nagellackentferner abnehmen. - Vor dem Schlafen Masque S.O.S. auftragen und über Nacht drauf lassen. Ich habe die Kur für 3 Wochen gemacht, und meine Nägel fühlen sich gesünder an, haben weniger Rillen und sind kräftiger. Ganz beheben kann das Kit die Schäden zwar nicht, aber das habe ich auch nicht erwartet. Die Produkte selbst überzeugen auch. Der Basecoat lässt die Nägel schön glänzen und trocknet nicht aus. Die Masque hat einen angenehmen Duft. Das Öl riecht neutral, ist sehr ergiebig und macht die Haut geschmeidig und weich. Meine Tipps: - Die Nägel während der Kur möglichst kurz halten, vor allem wenn sie sehr dünn sind oder splittern. - Masque S.O.S abwaschen, nicht abziehen. - Das Nagelöl verwende ich immer zwei Mal täglich, auch wenn ich Nagellack verwende. - Die Masque S.O.S. trage ich weiterhin ein Mal in der Woche auf, meistens wenn ich den Nagellack wechsle. Das Ergebnis ist super, ich empfehle das Rescue Kit daher gern weiter.
