pros: large selection of sizes. Has instructions. cons: nails may or may not be useful because of length. ware out faster than original heel. Instructions. I used Shoe Glue to attach these with some success. They still came off , I think my fault, poor preparation. Clean heel, lightly sand heal area AND the back of the heel patch you're going to glue on. Apply small amount of the Shoe Glue to both and the patch let them setup Clamp in place for 24 hrs (glue instructions) or use the provided nails. (I didn't use the nails, wood floors)

When searched for product for extra large boot heel plates, we leg to this product. Purchased for a man with size 15 boot and none of the heel plates was extra large, very disappointed but had to use anyway until could find larger ones. Each heel plate only lasts about 1 to 2 months . Easy to attach but does not stick until nailed. For the quantity is good value if you have small shoes or boots.

These cleats are easy to install and they really last I've had them on my boots for over a year and are still saving my heels. I can't believe how well they have held up. I highly recommend them.

The nail heads are too big for the indentations provided, so it was necessary to drill bigger holes so the nails wouldn't scratch the floor & make a clicking noise when walking. Also, the heel plates are excessively thick & add too much lumpiness to the shoe in the heel area. I'm Very disappointed in this product.

I had several pairs of shoes that all required minor work and did not feel like bringing the entire pile to the cobbler. These toe and heel taps are a quick fix to the part of the shoe most often need a little extra love for my thinner, soul shoes I use these with shoe cement and for my thicker soul shoes. I use them with the shoe cement as well as nails. Highly recommend if you similarly need as a simple shoe life extension

I decided to buy these because my daily boots are wearing off at the heel. These are great if you are looking to save your shoes. The only problem I have with these are that the nails that come with them may not work depending on the material of your boot sole. I used boot adhesive instead and it sticks way better than the nails did. Another small downside is that you lose traction due to the pads being this slippery plastic. I would not recommend using these to fix work boots/shoes.
