I. LOVE. THIS. VACUUM.
I. LOVE. THIS. VACUUM. I had my eye on this vacuum for several years before finally splurging and buying it for myself. I loved it from the first time I used it and it’s going strong over the last 3 months of weekly use. I have environmental sensitivities, and this vacuum is rated very highly in terms of how well sealed it is and how it does not redisperse any particles back into the air. Pros: relatively quiet, considering how powerful it is. The casters are really smooth and it's easy to pull around. I appreciate the variety of different brush heads and the cute storage compartment. I also really like how you can store the wand upright when the vacuum is out. Cons: It’s pricey! And replacement bags and filters are also not cheap. It is worth it to me, though, knowing that it is keeping the air in my home cleaner. I also feel like the slot to store the wand upright is not very secure. I feel like that that part will break down at some point. I also wish that the cord retractor was slower. It retracts alarmingly fast! Overall, I really love this vacuum. Is it perfect? No. But it is certainly good/satisfying to use, and I feel like it was money well spent.

Lightweight but powerful vacuum
I needed a lightweight vacuum, since I have some autoimmune and painful joints and so am not very fit, but also needed a vacuum that also enough power for both floors and carpet. This Miele is just the ticket. It's a touch above 16 lbs with the hose and other equipment on, but I hardly broke a sweat while vacuuming the upstairs plus the stairs of our two-floor house. The telescoping pole of the handle was long enough so that I could vacuum from the top of the stairs and not have to go all the way down to the bottom--just one step, while holding on the stair rail, that's how light it is. I like that all the small attachments are inside the canister for easy storage and I kept the handy box for the tube and larger attachments. The Miele is of very high quality, the vacuum suction is strong, and the floor brush attachment is very maneuverable and easy to use under and around furniture, as well as behind bathroom utilities such as toilets. It is also easy to store because of its smaller footprint. Highly recommended!

Worth every dollar !
Oh my goodness, this vacuum is fantastic! It really sucks, and it does so incredibly quietly so housecleaning is not an irritatingly noisy chore for the user or the rest of the household. It was expensive, but happiness is priceless. I just bought a second one, with more brushes, for my daughter’s family.

Disappointing Performance on Carpet — Fine for Hardwood Only
I had high hopes for the Miele Complete C3 Calima, especially given the price and Miele’s reputation, but this has been the worst vacuum cleaner I’ve owned for carpeted surfaces. On hardwood floors, it performs well. Suction is strong, and it handles debris effectively. However, if you have low-pile carpet, don’t expect much — it barely picks up dirt. On medium-pile carpet, performance is even worse. What makes this especially frustrating is that strong suction alone doesn’t matter if the vacuum head isn’t actually lifting dirt from the carpet. In my experience, this vacuum simply does not clean carpet effectively. I also found that it is not compatible with the Miele Original SEB 236 Electro Premium motorized floorhead, which might have improved carpet performance. That limitation was disappointing and makes this model feel even less versatile. For the price, I expected a vacuum that could handle multiple surfaces well. Instead, this feels like an expensive machine that only works properly on hardwood floors. If your home has carpeting, even just door mats, I strongly recommend considering another model. Had I known how poorly it would perform on carpet, I would not have purchased it. I genuinely wish I could return it.

German Engineering and quality = 💚
So, we have homestead with animals in and out with mostly wood floors; with some tile, and we use ruggables. Animals are my work and I have yet to find a vacuum that held out for any length of time, I have Owned: The Yellow Dyson; The Dyson Animal; and we have went thru 2 sharks. I get tired of constantly taking them in for repair and decided to try this. Out of the box the color was unique and the unit was very aesthetically pleasing. I love the compartment that neatly stores the attachment. The floor setttings are easy to navigate and it just glides around behind you! The Vaccumes very effiecient, light and I loved the quality of the plastic used on the hose and attachments. My only complaint is the carpet beater brush needs some bright little LED lights. I absolutely loved the ease of carrying it up and down the stairs and swapping out attachments is easy. All in all, I got the up and down stairs done in a little under an hour and it usually takes me a lot longer than that. Highly Recommend!

expensive but good.
Good vacuum cleaner. light weight with good suction. Well built. Expensive vacuum cleaner. List price is a joke. Amazon sells this for 200 dollars less than the list price.

Great quality
I absolutely love this vacuum. This is the second one I’ve owned. My first one I gave to my daughter when she moved into her apartment and I bought this one. These are great quality. A great size and has great suction. I love the attachments. A bonus for me is the color. It is very light to pull around when vacuuming, but does a great job. My first one was over 10 years old and still worked great.

The Miele Kona C3 Vacuum
We have an old Miele C2 Velvet vacuum that we purchased 15 to 20 years ago that we love and still use however when we moved into a two story house with a semi finished basement and mostly wood floors we decided to add the Miele C3 Calima to avoid having to drag one vacuum to all three levels. We love how lite and easy Calima is to use, how well it vacuums and how quiet it is. We added the larger parquet twister, cutting vacuuming time noticeably. However while the Colima’s turbo brush attachment worked acceptably on the living room’s medium pile rug under most circumstances, we noticed that after our kids visited with their dogs that the turbo brush wasn’t very effective at completely removing the dog hair. Both dogs drop short hairs in abundance. After using the turbo brush the carpet would look clean but after a few days we would notice more hair reappearing requiring another vacuuming of the carpet. Since we were still lugging a vacuum to the basement we decided to add one more vacuum with a power brush to see if it would remove the dog hair more thoroughly. So we purchased the Miele C3 Kona. One thing I noticed immediately is the hose and extension tube are heavier than either of the older vacs even when using non powered attachments. Most likely the additional weight is due to the more robust design needed to supply power to the power brush. Understandable but I wasn’t expecting it. So I need to adjust my expectations accordingly. Setting my laziness generated complaint aside, does the Kona power brush remove the short dog hair more effectively? After each of the last two dog visits I used the Kona power head on the carpet and we noticed that no dog hair reappeared on the carpet in the following days. Our socks also do not have dog hair on them after walking on the cleaned carpet in stocking feet. Hopefully the two newer Mieles Hold up like the first one has. I am still amazed that after all this time that old C2 can still retract the power cord when you step on the button. In addition after using the Kona a few more times I have adjusted to the additional weight of the hose and extension tube and no longer think about it.
