I'm going to write this review comparing the Crosswave to both a $30 spray mop/swiffer that you can find a million different models of on here, and to a traditional mop and bucket. Summary at the bottom. Cleaning Ability: 4.5/5 The crosswave lands somewhere between the mop and bucket, and spray mop for cleaning ability. It does land much closer to the mop and bucket, however, which is the best way to deep clean your floor. What this does do better than the m&b is sanitize. I feel much better cleaning my bathroom with this rather than a mop and bucket that becomes contaminated the second you rinse the mop. Something the Crosswave also does that the others don't is cleaning solid waste. You can clean up a spilled bowl of cereal, for example, with just this one device; vacuuming and mopping simultaneously. I've had some pretty messy spills, dried liquids, food that's fallen and been stomped on, and this has no problem cleaning it up. Ease of Use: 3/5 The winner here is clearly the spray mop or swiffer. I would say the mopping itself is extremely easy, but you're only deferring your effort. After use, you'll have to run the cleaning cycle, empty the drain water container, clean out the solid waste from the basket, rinse the filter, and possibly clean the rotating head every few uses with soap and water. I still find this easier than dealing with a mop and bucket, but barely. Just don't expect to be able to grab this, mop up, and then throw it back in the closet having saved so much time and energy. Price: 3/5 Well, it's a bit more than a mop and bucket to say the least. I got mine on sale for less than $300, and I'm not sure I could justify spending full price ($411 List Price) on this. But, I don't have any regrets so far. I find myself much more likely to mop daily, and my house has been cleaner since I've bought it. Reliability: -/5 This is an unknown, but its already lasted longer than any spray mop I've bought, which seem to fail after 2-4 months. The win here will definitely go to the mop and bucket. I'll update this if anything changes. Maintenance: 4/5 Maintenance is pretty easy here. I'll eventually have to replace the filter, but it came with an extra mop head. The mop head seems high quality and should last quite a while. The filter is washable, so I haven't had to worry about that yet. I haven't tried any other cleaners, but you're supposed to use the stuff from the manufacturer, so be prepared to pay more for cleaner than you're used to, but it's pretty reasonably priced. Build Quality: 4.5/5 This feels like a high quality product in line with a Dyson or Miele. My only concern is that the charging/cleaning station feels quite cheap. Other than that, I have no worries that this will last a while. The battery lasts plenty long to mop my whole house. Overall: 4/5 If you have the money to spend and want to make daily mopping part of your routine, this really does beat the spray mops and swiffers of the world. It's very nice having something I can easily grab after cooking dinner and give the kitchen a once over, mopping and vacuuming at the same time. It certainly beats the mop and bucket for cleaning a localized spill, and can still handle my whole house if it needs to. It won't replace the deep cleaning of a good mop and a bucket of hot, soapy water, but it will get you 90% of the way there, and for me, that's enough to make it worth it.

Mine was delivered today 😁 After giving it a full charge, I cleaned my tile floors and I'm so impressed!!! I have 2 large dogs and 4 children so my floors are always sticky, dirty and somewhere, something spilled 🤣. This machine took all of that in stride! Granted some spots needed the brush to linger over them for an extra second, they came up! I went from a toddler bomb sprinkled with dirt and sealed with foot and paw prints to end goal in a matter of minutes!!! This product may not be for everyone but it was exactly what me and my home needed! Well done bissell 👏 I do have 2 complaints so far and they're more than tolerable for the bargain of time this offers. 1st is that the brush obviously gets wet and dirty. When you shut the machine off and the suction stops, it does leave a trickle of dirty water. I was forewarned as I read many reviews myself. Again, with the time this thing saves, I'll totally clean up a little crosswave slobber 🤣 2nd is If you go over a threshold or go to a different surface with it kicked up and clicked (like you'd wheel a normal vacuum around while not running it) it comes down. I'm not sure if it has a sensitive latch or if the wheels trigger it to drop or what, but it doesn't stay kicked up changing surfaces or going over any bumps. Again, no big deal because this machine is amazing!

I think you can handle a small to median sq ft (under 1900 sq ft) apartment or house with this, but you have to move fast which doesn't account for any hard to clean spots you have to go over and over again, nor if you want to dry your floor rather than leaving it damp to dry. And this cleaner ends up dumping messes, not mud exactly, but dirty water as well so you're going to have a wonderful time cleaning this machine. I think the wet part of the vacuum - the mop - is the issue as the liquid causes the clogs. It's also an extremely time-consuming cleaning method. It might be too frustrating for some to bother with all the details on cleaning this vacuum. Another problem, with the self-cleaning option, you can have a build up clogging of dirt in the pipe from the brush to the dirty water tank, which means you can't clean your floors without cleaning that out too. Not so easy to do since it has a curve in it. I use a flashlight to verify if there's dust bunnies or clumps stuck in it. Cleaning. Maybe they no longer promote it as self-cleaning? Because it's not and never was. You have to pull apart all sorts of the apparatus and I hope you're comfortable getting hands dirty 'cause that's what it takes. Also the enclosed cleaning implement is inadequate. I even added a metal letter opener to the list of useful utensils. Hopefully you're not also stuck cleaning up the soppy mess on the floor which this tank dumps. AND one battery charge doesn't allow for SLOW mopping if you're in the medium sq ft category. At least you can see the progress of your battery life by watching it drop from three ON lights to one blinking light. That can spur you on. There is no pull out attachment for dust bunnies, that is a huge drawback, esp if you have pets. Or what I call Real Life. So you might do the dust bunny mop or a pole vacuum. But now you're back to mopping separately from your vacuum, if you're using the mop. (Speaking of dust bunnies and pets, I don't think the Bissell Pet Pro comes cordless and it def doesn't have the attachment. That and streaky floors (usually tracks) made me return that item. Also because the Pet Pro wanted to suck up and destroy any dangling cords I had.) Both these vacuums - Pet Pro and Cordless - have huge suction (and burn!) power when it comes to dangling power cords (so watch this!) but not much power otherwise. It's almost a conundrum. Both machines are quiet in comparison to my noisy two syllable expensive brand name starts with D. So I appreciate the relative quiet and the two-in-one combo but my floor isn't as clean as it was with separate noisy vacuum and mopping applications. UPDATE: I have given up the mopping entirely with this unit. To avoid the sludge and occasionally clumping within the unit. That feature simply wasn't worth it. I have a stick vacuum which I use as a second stage floor cleaner as it can get under and around items this one can't. Then, after using two different vacuums, I do a standard mopping. This gets the floors clean. ANOTHER UPDATE: I find I still have trouble getting the plastic roller cover snapping into place. One time I was working on it for twenty minutes. I have found I can cut that time down to 5-10 minutes if I can correctly position the cover, manually shove it into place, then literally put one foot - and my weight - on the top of it and it MIGHT snap into place. But it easily comes off. In general there is also another issue and that it usually takes longer to clean the vacuum than it does to run the thing through the house. One cleaning issue to look out for is you can turn on the auto roller cleaning mechanism but that also requires the cleaner so that's a wet process. My roller brush takes at least a week to dry unless I put it outside. There is also the issue with the wet that it will cause a clog of buildup so you are probably left manually clinging out the tube where it connects with the roller. It is bad! You will have water leaking out and you will also have a big mess dropped onto your floor. It's like you need to clean your house because you've just cleaned your vacuum. If that's not enough you have to look for clogs everywhere. AND you might want to walk through your house checking your floors for dirt pileups, where literally the vacuum just dropped dirt in sections. I have to sweep that up before I mop, of course. And I wanted to decrease the amount of liquid going on here, because that is what is causing the clogging of the suction tubes. However you might have the cover of the vacuum come off because the vacuum for flat floors has a different height issue than for a rug. Therefore you are stuck using the carpet setting, which means you are back to using the cleaning solution. However a lot of carpet/rug dust/hair gets into bundles and I have to manually scrape it up. The suction on this vacuum cleaner is abysmal even when you're not supposed to be adding liquid into the mix, which causes clogging of the tubes. So whether you want to do a manual push-button to turn on the auto-cleaning function of the roller is an individual choice as it definitely clogs up the tube. And the tube might already be clogged, just evidence of the amount of dumping it does prior to the cleaning of the roller. And the roller is soaking after the clean cycle. Sometimes water is sitting in the vacuum holder. And you will have to pull and unwind or cut the hairs that have accumulated and knotted up at the corner of the roller itself. Something that happened recently is to vacuum a furnace filter, it doesn't work. However, I have taken to banging the filter one side and the other repeatedly. This vacuum doesn't pick up anything, it merely gathers the dust into sections which I try and clean up with my stick vacuum. I shouldn't have to do this. Like I said, for a self-cleaner I have never cleaned a vacuum cleaner as much in my life. It's more about the vacuum needs cleaning than it cleans anything.

Update #2 One year in! I’ve settled at 4 stars! 😂 After the crack fiasco (read below) I contacted bisell to see if there was any sort of a warranty on the machine. Thankfully there was a warranty on some parts so after lots of back and forth they replaced the cracked dirty bin AND top piece! Big brownie points in my book! Additionally, I discovered that BISSELL makes a cleaner specifically for the crosswave machines to use with the clean cycle. It’s separate from the formula you put into the clean water tank to clean your floors with. It’s a clear bottle- orange scented and I can only find it on Amazon but regular use has kept the machine (and it’s new pieces!) like new! I still replace the brush rolls and filters at about 3-4 months of use but I do use it about twice a week on average. Still picks up dirt, pet hair, cereal, and all other assortment of toddler wonders very well! Would buy again knowing all the little tips and tricks I know now 😂 All in all worth buying if: you register the machine, you replace the brush rolls and filters 3-4 months, you use the BISSELL made cleaning formulas in the clean water tank, and you use the BISSELL made Crosswave cleaner when you are cleaning out the machine after use. Additionally, take the dirty water bin and its components apart after each use and rinse and dry thoroughly before next use. Update: 3 stars- I’ve now owned this for 6+ months and am superrrrr disappointed in a few specific aspects. I still LOVE the functionality of the machine overall- it’s still easily the best of these wet vacs I’ve used. That being said #1: there are weird air pockets in the dirty tank, and cover for the roller which can NEVER be properly cleaned and now are growing mold that makes my whole house smell badly when I use the wet vac. #2: I went to remove the dirty tank yesterday and after only 6ish months of owning it, there’s now a 3 inch crack down the front of it deeming it unusable. #3. The time that goes into cleaning it- not ideal!! Especially now for my house to have this gross bissel cleaner mold combo smell. I use the self clean function after I’m done each time (at least once) and then hand wash each part and leave each part out to dry thoroughly before using again and am STILL dealing with the smell issue. All in all for $300 bucks I’m bummed but not suprised that I’m already buying replacement pieces. I did already invest in two new brush rolls and filters thinking that was the source of the smell before I noticed the junk in the top of the dirty tank. _____________OG REVIEW_________________ Full disclosure I’ve only had it for like two days- but I LOVE this wet dry vac. I have a 1 and 2 year old so I use it OFTEN and I’m impressed each time. If there’s food crusted onto the floor it takes a few passes and the cleaning process for the machine itself is sometimes lengthy but overall I much prefer it to a mop and bucket. My kiddos will throw things in the mop water and try to play in it so this again is much preferred. The cleaner it comes with smells great, and while the vacuum itself can be kind of heavy when it’s full of water- it seems very well made!

I bought this during the stay at home orders. I have a weekly cleaning by a 3 person cleaning crew made up of three large burly women. When non-essential businesses had to close, I had to clean my place by myself and found that I did not have the same strength as 3 burly women. The floor cleaning was the most difficult for me. Also, I'm quite elderly. So, I purchased this product. It did the job. If it did a bit better deep cleaning on tile, I would give it five stars. And of course, I can always use a product that is lighter and lighter. It was definitely worth the money. Contrary to others, I did not find the maintenance of it to be arduous. Instead of quitting when the tank was empty, I emptied the dirty water tank and refilled the top tank. While I had lunch, I allowed the battery to charge. I able to continue on and finish a major portion of the house; the dirtiest parts. Now I know that I can take care of the floors, even if I don't have anyone to help me. Good job Bissell. several months later, I've added: A big test of a mechanical item is whether or not a hired cleaning person can use it. I raised my evaluation to five stars because my cleaning person is using it effectively and has also not broken it. She likes it so much that she cleans it all up and gets it ready for the next time. I have not had to tell her anything. No problems have occurred. I believe that this is due to the very clear training videos that she watched on her own. Kudos to Bissell for making easy to understand training videos. The fact that the roller self-cleans is a big plus. When a product can not only be easily used, but not broken by cleaning personnel is a testament to a good product.

So, things were pretty grubby, I will admit. I got really tired of fighting my ill-balanced dyson animal vac, my ecovacs kept dying when my housemate’s long hair would get tangled, and the various mops I had with washable pads were just not easy to use. Especially as a small woman with rheumatoid arthritis! Then I got this thing... and now I’m on a cleaning tear! Pros: Not having the cord is fabulous. And the machine clearly indicates in ten minute intervals how much charge is left so you can plan ahead. I know that half an hour isn’t very long, but it is more than enough for my small house. Convenient start. It is pretty easy to set up to run each time. You pop in one of the two brush rollers (so yesterday’s can finish drying, yes you too may be inspired to give this a quick run around your high traffic areas daily), add the brush cover and the dirty water tank, add the clean water and cleaner and off you go. Everything clicks into place in a satisfying manner. Lightweight and quiet. For a vacuum, I’d say it is pretty quiet. And somehow the noise it makes bothers me less. The noise of the old vac was really something I hated. When full of water it has some weight to it, obviously, but not a ton beyond that and the handles are good. Easy to operate. There are a few things to get used to and remember, but it is easy enough to master. The trigger for more clean water is effortless to press and hold ao your fingers don’t cramp. The buttons are easy and decently placed, though I kinda wish the rug/hard floor button was not so easy to hit instead of power, but it isn’t like that hurts much. Most of the parts come apart and go back on easily even for arthritic hands, though the roller cover was a bit stiff and might have been tricky if I was having a bad flare. It seems to be getting a bit easier over time. Storing after use is easy. You put it on the dock and hit a button and it will wash the roller for you. Then you pop that and the air filter out of it and put those in the provided rack to dry. Pour the satisfyingly revolting water down the toilet and rinse the tank and let it dry. Let it charge for tomorrow. The cleaner is not bad. You are limited to their cleaner, but it does not have a strong odor and doesn’t make me sneeze. I think after your initial few cleans you could easily skimp on or skip the cleaner for most maintenance. Suction is great. I only have hard floors, but this vac will pick up anything but ridiculously large or heavy debris. It is fantastic at cleaning up cat puke/hairballs. With a bit of finesse, it leaves the floor nearly dry, similar to damp mopping. So far (1month) I have no problems with pet or long, wirey human hair clogging it or getting excessively stuck on the roller. I would say it replaces a normal vac though I do keep a small hand vac with a nozzle for tight spaces. Cons and tips: Filter amnesia. Somehow, I found I kept forgetting to put the air filter back in which would result dirty water on the floor and it not drying the floor. I ‘fixed’ this by drying/storing the filter in top of the tank, not in the rack where I tended not to see it. Edges are not perfect. Although going nose-in to an edge improves performance there is still a strip it doesn’t get. I just plan to let the robot vacuum get that and swipe it with a damp rag when needed. Streaks. On a very, very smooth floor you can see some streaks when the light is just right. I think using distilled water might help if you are super fussy about that, but I’m just happy that the floor is soooo much cleaner than with a normal vac or mop. Weird post-cleaning ritual. After running the brush cleaning cycle the instructions tell you to wipe the water out of the charger tray and they say this is to avoid corroding the contacts. This makes zero sense because those contacts are waaaay up in the handle. I suspect the manual was written to a beta model with the contacts on the tray. Anyhow, lifting it out of the tray and wiping then leaves you with a spot to wipe on your floor where the vac rested for this. Seems a silly oversight after making such an otherwise well-working product. Doesn’t get under. Although it swivels nicely from side to side the vac does not ‘lay down’ as much as some others for getting under furniture. Again, I plan to mostly let the robot deal with those areas and occasionally shuffle furniture to get under the middle of the bed, etc. I’d rate that feature as a ‘C’ as it is OK, but not great. Be sure to leave a few minutes charge on the machine to run the brush cleaner. If it is completely dead, you can’t perform that operation. Not a big deal if you pay a little attention, but you don’t want to forget and have things get moldy. The brush is very gentle. This is a good thing and a bad thing. It is very easy on your floors, but if your house, like mine, started out pretty dirty it may take a few iterations to really get all the gunk. Likewise, I have some wood floors that are very old and worn with bad crevices and I found I needed to scrub them a bit with a stiff brush and some of the diluted bissel cleaner before using the bissel, but this was unusual circumstances and a one-time deeper clean. Just buy it already! I hate cleaning, but this thing is kinda fun!

Well, I'm middle of the road. Here are some notes that are not clear when researching this product before purchasing. 1. The water nozzle DOES NOT dispense water continually. Pressing and holding the water spray button dispenses water INTERMITTENTLY based on the setting. I found it to be one squirt of water every 6 seconds when set to hard wood floors, and one squirt of water every 3 seconds when set to area rug setting. I was expecting the water to be spraying continually when I hold the button, and that is not the case. Also, the water is applied to the ROLLER ONLY, not to the floor surface. So the cleaner gets applied to the roller, the roller spins and contacts the floor. 2. The 10 seconds to prime the roller is NO WHERE NEAR LONG enough. At one squirt of water every 6 seconds onto a dry roller, it doesn't even get it CLOSE to being ready to clean. I press and release the button TEN TIMES to prep the roller for cleaning, and that seems to get it wet enough to start actually cleaning. 3. The suction DOES NOT apply suction to the surface! YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS! This was a big eye opener for me. The vacuum suction is applied TO THE ROLLER only. It sucks water OFF THE ROLLER, NOT OFF THE FLOOR SURFACE! I think this will explain why so many people indicate that the water collection bin is empty after trying to clean their floors. The roller was probably completely dry most of the cleaning time, as it only comes out every 6 seconds or so, and then gets sucked right back up. THIS MAKES CLEANING AREA RUGS VERY TRICKY!! The device will not suck water out of the area rug, only out of the roller. I pre-treated a stain on the area rug, and this machine did not pick up any of the pre-treatment. I realize now, that is by design as the device WILL NOT apply suction to the floor surface. 4. (AND THIS IS A DOOZY) -- DO NOT LEAVE THE WATER TANK ATTACHED!!! Once the cleaning cycle is finished, remove the clean water tank. Overnight, it will ALL DRAIN SLOWLY OUT. This morning, there was a HUGE puddle around the machine as it sat on the charging station. All the water in the clean water tank had drained out filling the charging station, and spilling over on to the floor. I left the tank filled so it would be all ready for the next use. DO NOT DO THIS! Remove the tank after the cleaning cycle. This is A LOT of money to spend on a floor mop. For me, it is easier to clean up messes from a dog with incontinence, and better than going through gobs of paper towels and bending over to wipe it up, then follow up with a cleaner, then follow up with a drying towel. But that's my choice. Every day home use . . . I see NO reason to see how this would be "better" than a mop. I will say it is equal to one, and much easier. I've got 30 days to test it further and determine if it is worth keeping for my situation. The pool of water this morning didn't help the fight for keeping it, but willing to see how it goes.

Got this open box sale long time ago. I love this bit I'm going to be honest. It's perfect for quick spills and such but if you can just use it for the dry spills and less on the wet ones . Your gonna like it much better. Dont get me wrong it will clean up the wet spills fine . But keep in mind that you will have to clean it out every single time you use it for wet spills because it will start to smell etc . For me it's perfect when my mom is cooking and she doesn't know that she just snowed the stove the counters and the floors with flour and sugar and seasoning 🫢🤣😭😂😉I have to have somethiny quick and handy to vacuum it up fast . And it's great to have the wet vac just Incase . But if you can get the wet mess up with your mop and paper towels then spare yourself the trouble of using this every single time for a spill . Or you will hate having to keep cleaning it out. But for the sale prices and open box sales . They are worth it. This one I got was extremely cheap for the open box . I also have dogs so this comes in very handy . That is my honest review I love mine. But there is no way I would pay the original price unless I was just well off 😉God is just good to me and he blessed me through Amazon with their open box sales . 🥰

I had seen this cleaner advertised on TV and it certainly lives up to my expectations. It's so light to move around. Very easy to clean and my tile floors have never looked so clean and shiny. I love that it vacuums as well as wet cleans. I can easily buy the floor sanitiser online. The parts are easy to keep clean too. I recommend this cleaner.

They didnt mentioned the power it is 110 v and in ksa it is not sutable

I was pretty excited when I received the cross wave vacuum. Unfortunately I ordered a cordless vacuum and got one with a cord. I own a large home and the thought of using a vacuum with a cord compared to a cordless was disappointing. I packed it up and had every intention of sending it back but I kept getting the nagging feeling I might get another vacuum with a cord regardless, because I have no control over what happens. It seemed like a rather large hassle with the possibility of a poor outcome so I unpacked it and am now using it. Having said all that I do find it an amazing vacuum. It’s a bit heavier than I thought it would be but it does a fantastic job! I can’t do my stairs because I find it heavy and awkward so I just do my main floor with it and use a smaller lighter vacuum to do the upstairs. Now once a week I’ll haul that sucker upstairs, to wash those floors. I’m not going to spend all that money and not use it but i was hoping the vacuum would be a bit lighter. The cord is long so that helps. I guess at the end of the day it’s certainly not perfect for the price. but it DOES do a good job! So for that I’m thankful.
