This entire book cracks me up. It's full of creative artwork and fantastic, satirical poetry. Highly recommend this for anyone who needs a good laugh. Also, GO WATCH BO BURNHAM'S SHOWS "WHAT" AND "BE HAPPY" on YouTube or Netflix!!

If you have a hard time understanding Bo's humor or his messages behind many jokes and hidden meanings in songs.This book will just confused you.It's an absolute masterpiece and I mainly purchased it just to support Bo.

I was expecting something different, and I think that changed my reading a bit.Honestly, I thought this was going to be a more traditional poetry offering, and after enjoying Burnham's standup, I was curious to see what he would do with a poetic form.So I was a bit surprised when this turned out to be the equivalent of an adult-style Shel Silverstein book. That's not a bad thing, either, as both Burnham and Bone capture the whimsy, darkness, and poignancy of Silverstein amazingly well.Burnham, too, has some excellent "serious" work here, and it's rather fantastic. His humor is, mostly, spot on as well, full of deprecation, criticism on his generation, and nonsense. Basically, it's what you SHOULD expect from a Burnham book, but I seemed to have an odd idea of what it was going to be.In the end, it's loads of fun, and I think that's exactly what he was trying to do.

Bo Burnham continues to prove himself as a talented man once again, this time through the medium of poetic humor and introspection. I highly enjoyed several of these poems and found myself thinking, "Finally, someone's said it!" many times over as I went through this book. If you are a fan of humor, existentialism, acerbic viewpoints and heartfelt longing all wrapped up in a single, beautifully messy collection, you will enjoy this lovely book.

this is a great book! i love bo burnham. when this arrived, however, the front cover was slightly bent and torn a bit in two places, on the bottom left and bottom right edges. there also was black streaks from shipping all over the book. i bought this for my brother for christmas and am disappointed it doesn't look new.

The book was a good read, it really was. But I honestly expected a bit more from Bo Burnham considering how amazing his shows are.I expected it to show off a bit more of what goes on inside his head and that was my own downfall. It did show off the thoughts in his head, but moreso the random thoughts he has during the day. The longer poems felt a bit forced, like he was parodying himself when writing them.

Some poems are very funny, some very sad and pitiful, and some are very, very dirty and sick minded. Lots of swear words. This author has obviously felt some terrible heartbreak, but that isn't surprising reading the way he talks about women and sex. I like the book though.

Really intriguing book. If you know Bo's comedy style this book portrays it pretty well. It makes you laugh, cry, and think. I finished it in one sitting because I felt like I had to. Some parts I liked and some I didn't; some parts I had to stop and reread what I just read and some parts I had a huge grin and I feel like everyone will have a different experience with the book. The illustrations were fun too and made me wonder how some fit with what.

I love Bo Burnhams comedy but this book is just nonsense. That fact this got published is an absolute joke. I expect this from Shane Dawson or some other stupid YouTube person but not a stand up comic. Waste of paper.

My partner has been hinting at wanting this book for ages, he loves Bo Burnham and has been following him for years. It was one of his favourite presents and kept him chuckling for ages.

Wonderful book, a big enough Bo Burnham fan as I am already although I believe this book would be a great read for anyone who enjoys comedy and/or poetry. The poems are well written and hilarious with some that are genuinely thought provoking and all enjoyable. Props to the illustrator too as it is done very well to create one pleasing piece of work which I occasionally dip into if I'm feeling bored or in need of a laugh

Simply put, this book is a lot of fun, full of whimsical, obscure musings. Just a couple of pages is enough to make you chuckle internally for the rest of the day.
