I use this battery and older Vaio model

Received the battery before it was due...nice
To this day (a month after I plugged it in to charge) it has finally gotten to 100%. I use batteryinfo software and it says it is 99.2 percent charged. It has been plugged in the entire time too. I did discharge it when I got it (it was at 56% charged) as the instructions said but a month to charge? But it does work and it registers a healthy battery which my previous one was down to 38 percent but still worked. I am pleased with the battery as it works like I had hoped other than the long charging. Now my next question is: how long will it take again to recharge once I unplug it to refresh the charging? Hummm. Sure want to do five stars though. Perhaps 4.9?

Thus battery was a perfect fit for my older laptop.
This battery fits this Sony laptop I have, jut took off the dead old one.. put in the new one. Charged it for a few hours and was ready to go. Gret price also.
