Great little piece of kit. I bought this some time ago and the battery has lasted ages without needing replaced. The display is clear and easy to read, it turns on automatically when you pull the spike out, so it's easy to use, and is backlit if needed. It updates quickly and has contributed to a number of delicious smoked, baked, air-fried and barbecued dishes. Does exactly what you need and came for a great price too. I'm assuming the accuracy is good, because no-one has fallen ill through undercooked meat that I've prepared (that I know of!). And yes, I did stick it in my mouth to test it, and it gave me a believable reading.

Perfect, simple to use, clear display

This thermometer works well and reads quickly. There are some guideline temperatures on the incnluded instructions that are way off, so don't use those!

So impressed with this. Much better than ones I have used previously. Definitely more durable.
