I bought the MSI MPG A1000GS PCIe 5.0 Fully Modular 1000W PSU and it has been a great upgrade for my system. Power Compatibility: I use an RTX 2080 Ti, which requires two 8-pin PCIe connectors. The PSU only includes one PCIe cable with a single 8-pin, so at first I thought I’d have a problem powering my GPU. Fortunately, MSI’s online portal offers a free 12VHPWR (12-pin) to dual 8-pin cable, and that cable works perfectly. No instability, no crashes — power delivery has been completely solid. The unit feels very well-built, the modular cables plug in securely, and the PSU runs extremely quiet. Even during gaming sessions, the fan noise is barely noticeable. Even though it only ships with one PCIe cable, the free portal cable option solves the issue for older GPUs like the 2080 Ti. The PSU itself is rock-solid: quiet, efficient (80+ Gold), and totally stable under load. Highly recommended if you want a clean, future-proof power supply with great value.

The MPG A850GS provides enough power for the 9800X30 and RX9070 XT build that I have, with some room to grow. Overall I really like the size of the power supply it's been a while since I have purchased a PC power supply and was kind of surprised by how compact the unit is. It's fully modular and provides more than enough cables for nearly any build. The unit is quiet even with the fan on, it also offers a silent operation mode if you need that. So far I do not detect any type of coil whine or anything that would impede it's operation. I am extremely happy with how this unit performs and functions. It was super easy to install and it feels quality built. The durability should last for years. The warranty is top notch too!

Phenomenal PSU, the native 12v power connector was the perfect size and length for the 5080 I paired the system with. It's silent, even with the zero fan mode off. Another outstanding MSI product that will support any modern PC setup with full functionality. The price for performance is also just about unbeatable.
