Digital Tire Pressure Gauge with Inflator 3-250 PSI Fits 1/4" NPT

A solid well thought out version of a tool in general use. I particularly like the chuck which is easy but positive to attach to the valve stem and the pressure hold feature. This is very well made and easy to use.

I have maintained my own tires for 50 years now (ever since I started driving). I have a mini air compressor as part of my garage essentials (the other being a battery shop charger/car jumper). I have used various tire gages and air hose attachments throughout the years. They were always difficult to fit on the valve stem properly where air was released before finding the right angle. The difficulty in both gauging and filling tires completely stopped after purchasing this item (along with a separate Jaco pressure gauge for the occasional quick pressure check). I can't say enough about this item. Now it only takes minutes to check and fill tires. The valve stem attachment clips right on the valve stem with one hand, while holding the inflator nicely in the other hand. The inflator immediately and clearly shows the current tire pressure. Your hand holding the inflator already has a few fingers on the air flow activation lever. A slight squeeze causes the tire to start filling with the air gauge now indicating the amount of pressure going into the tire. Releasing the lever switches the gauge back to show the current tire pressure. A few more repeats and your done, leaving the tire with the precise pressure desired (I keep 30 PSI in my Sorento). The price for such precision and convenience is low indicating excellent value. I highly recommend this product for all auto do-it-yourselfers. Cheers!

Well made inflator for the most part. Nice trigger, rubber protected gauge and pressure release. Only issue is the brass chuck that came with the inflator is less than desirable. Leaks profusely and takes a few tries to get it to seal properly. I had an old broken Jaco analog tire inflator and took the lightning chuck (silver) off and put onto this Astro digital inflator and now works great. No leaks with easy connection and removal.

Note: Adding this note to my review a few months after what I wrote below. Came to find out that this gauge consistently reads 2.5-3.0 PSI higher than actual pressure. I couldn't figure out why our 2 cars and 1 truck's TPMS sensors all read high after filling up with this gauge. The consistency across the board was 2.5-3.0PSI high. Once you know this, you can account for it when filling the tires but it's a pain to have to remember and account for it when filling widely varying tires. Example: I have a handtruck that needs 16PSI in the tires. One car is 35PSI and my truck is 55PSI. Hard to remember to account for that. I guess you get what you pay for. Still, the gauge is still running and it gets used several times per month and not really babied at all. The backlit digital gauge is very easy to see. Trigger works smoothly and air fills the tire at a good pace and predictably. The air release button is a really nice feature and overall it's built pretty well. Two areas for improvement: A longer hose and a swivel fitting on the hose. The hose that attaches to the valve stem is pretty short and depending where the valve stem is you may have to twist and contort the inflator to attach it. Sometimes, the gauge face winds up facing the tire instead outward towards you, so you have to twist it to read the gauge, putting strain on the hose and fittings. A swivel fitting on the hose would fix this problem. For those with a dually pickup truck, the hose will likely be too short to reach the inner tire. Also, the clip-on valve chuck is nice to have and frees up a hand instead of having to hold the chuck onto the valve stem. But, if your valve stem happens to be located near a spoke of the wheel, if you have spoke-style wheels, the clip on the chuck may interfere and hit the spoke, meaning you have to twist the chuck around so that the clip doesn't hit the spoke. Then you run into the short hose/needs a swivel problem stated above. These are minor complaints though. The unit is built well, feels good in the hand, feels like it will last. Would buy again.

Works fantastic. I wish I had acquired this years ago. It is much easier than the old method of airing tires, then checking, repeat. This takes 25% of the time to air tires

As I was getting everything ready for the spring, I was checking the tire pressure on all of my vehicles, yard tractors, trailers, wheel barrow, etc. I finally realized that I had a half dozen different filling nozzles and pressure gauges. Since the pressures vary greatly, I always had to switch from low pressure to moderate/high pressures. Then you fill the tire, check, fill more, let some out, etc. etc. This inflator is fantastic! I cannot say enough good things. I plugged ONE device into my air compressor and was able to hook to ALL of the tires I was inflating and easily read the backlit pressure gauge. Perfect for low pressure tires and vehicle tires. The filling hose fits in all wheels/rims and clicks on securely. Simply squeeze the trigger and fill to your desired pressure. If you add a bit too much, just tap the relief button to hit the perfect pressure. This is one of the best tools I have purchased in years! No more fill, check, fill, check, etc. Additionally, I do not need the multiple gauges and filling nozzles anymore. No need to worry about the batteries going dead as the inflator automatically shuts off when not in use. I believe it even came with batteries (2 AA). I have been telling everyone about how great it is. I wish I would have bought one years ago. Highly Recommended Buy !!!

Very nice. Clear display, doesn't leak at all. Easy to inflate and deflate to hit the number you want. Best inflator I've ever used.

Came with all accessories. It's very sturdy. Looks high quality. Fitment is good. I would highly recommend. Didn't need to assemble. Came out of the box ready to go.
