I've read you need an adapter for presta valves. Which adapter did you buy?

None of these "answers" actually answer your question, so I'll just say this: There are similar products to this on Amazon which have auto-select valves which work for both presta and schrader valves. These are only $5-$10 more. You can also but the BV-Smart valve (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RM6PDZG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to work with this if you still wish to buy this one.

What is the valve core tool used for?

The valve core tool is used to remove or install the core inside the valve stem. Good thing to check tightness if you have a slow leak. Also a great tool for rapidly deflating a tire.

How accurate is it compared to actual tire pressure?

They state that it’s calibrated to be within 1%. However, I have a certified gauge that always shows this AstroAI to be ½ lb low. I have another inexpensive digital guage which is also ½ lb low. Using my third certified gauge as the reference. Eg. If your tires should be filled to 40# then this should be +- .4# so that’s not exactly ½# but it’s pretty close. And it could also be that much over filled. Personally I would call that fairly accurate as long as you know which direction your specific AstroAI Reads (over or under) I use this all the time and I like it. I just over fill by exactly 1/2lb.

Can i use it with manual bike pump?

Im pretty sure you can with adaptors, but why? You will have to manually pump by hand and squeeze the trigger at the same time. You better off just having a tire gauge and do it the normal way. This unit is best use with air compressor.
