I had a piece of molding on my vehicle that popped up and I used this tape and didn't pop up no more even though I went through a car wash and still was stucked down! I used a cleaner on both sides and let it dry and then put the tape on. Highly recommended!

This is the real deal. It holds my molding on my door panel VERY solidly! One roll might do two doors depending on the length of the door. You'll definitely need 2 rolls if you're doing the trim on 4 doors. Works and holds with no sign of wanting to come off.

Its 3m! Same complaint that you will always have, that being the red cover tape very hard to remove in certain situations.

Got this for my vehicle to secure some things on the interior. I live in San Antonio, Texas and we get hot, REALLY hot in the summer. Many double sided tapes just can’t perform in this heat. 3M, as trusted name, should do the trick. It is winter time here so I reallycan’t comment on its performance in the heat, but I most certainly will, and update this review with my experience. Therefore, for now, I rate this tape 4/5. If it ever fails, my updated review will be promulgated.

This is my go-to double sided tape for everything, not just car related DIY. Every double sided tape that comes with accessories always tend to become weak over time.

Used this to mount some outdoor motion lights to aluminum siding near my back entrance. Waited for warm weather to do the job. Seems to be holding well so far.
