Series 1-14 of Vera – the character created by Ann Cleeves and played by BAFTA winning Brenda Blethyn Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope. Every single episode of the much loved drama from the very first episode through to the finales. Review: Senior Woman Detective Set In England. - Vera is one of my favorite series. It's about a very sharp senior citizen detective obsessed with her work. It's set in England. Very nice scenery and mysteries too. She is sort of like a older female version of Columbo in appearance. And a little curmudgeonly. You'll find yourself caring about her in the end. I'm really glad I have the entire series to binge watch. Warning: You will need a region free DVD player as it won't play on American players. desertcart sells them and they are very inexpensive. If you get a region free player, it will be the only one you need as it will play foreign and domestic DVD's. Too bad people don't read the directions before buying DVD's instead of blaming the disc for not playing. Sigh. Review: Fair price - DVDs worked in my new player. - Wife loves this show. I bought a region-free player so I could get the complete set. Fair price. Used to be that non-USA format was cheaper. Not anymore. The sellers have caught on and raised their prices.

Great value for money
Everything arrived as promised. Great value for money, too. Especially since I could not find anywhere to stream all 14 seasons and at that price.

"VERA" complete series 1-14 DVD Box Set.
I waited for the complete series Box Set to be released and it is up to all my expectations. I would recommend it to all TV Crime series collectors. It is also a perfect gift for those like to watch TV Crime Series.

An outstanding series, really takes off after the first few episodes.
Quality British production, plenty of red herrings in every episode to keep you thinking. Found it quite drab and unappealing at first, difficult to get into the first few episodes but after that, wow, what an incredible series it has turned out to be. Absolutely top rate.
