Do they need to be refrigerated in the sealed bag to keep fresher longer?

Because I’m the only one who eats these (only 2 or 3 a day since I eat a variety of nuts), I refrigerate them.

Please define "no ppo". also are pesticides or fungusides used after harvest?

HI No Ppo means " No propylen oxide" Treatment, As far as pesticides or fungusides It doesn't have however to confirm to be sure you can email me and I will get a certificate for confirmation.

How is this product superior to organic?

It also says ALL Brazil nuts are grown in the Amazon. When trying to cultivate them outside of the Amazon, they fail. So, I too would like to know how these are superior to ORGANIC if BOTH are grown in the Amazon. Organic means no man-made chemicals.
