Perfect water bottle, use at work everyday

I was originally looking for a leak-proof 2-liter refrigerator juice container, but none of the ones I saw were any good. I did order a glass one, but it cracked in lukewarm soapy water. Finally, I found this well-designed safe (BPA-free) Aquafit. It's made of hard plastic that's thick enough to withstand accidental bangs (far better than glass would.) I wouldn't use it for hot liquids, nor wash it in a hot dishwasher, but warm water washing should be fine. The design of this bottle is truly outstanding. The handle is an integral part of the container itself and is very strong and comfortable to grasp. The spring up push button operated cap is very convenient and leak proof, sealing the wide pour spout and covering the fold-away straw valve. Although I don't plan on using the built in straw, that straw does provide venting to allow smooth pouring. Additionally, it comes with an alternative wide jar cap - if you wanted one. The volume scale printed on the side (metric and English) is very readable. That's something that many other such bottles either lack or do a bad job labeling. Someone was thinking at this company when they designed this thing.

I don't know if it's the material, but after I poured hot tea into it, the whole taste of the tea changed completely. I thought it was the tea itself, but it tasted nothing like the tea I brewed in other cups at home. Even after washing the cup with detergent, there was still a strong lingering smell
