In December I found myself needing a new hairdryer. I had the same one for like 7 years and decided I was going to get one with the newer technology, to try and lessen the frizz and static I experienced with each dry. I spent almost 150 on a dryer, and it worked well until it caught fire in my hands less than 4 months later. While I really did notice a great change from the new ionizong technology (well it was new to me lol) I was not going to be spending anywhere near that again. So I began my search again. This dryer is absolutely perfect. Seriously it has it all... 3 power modes, 3 heat modes, plus cool shot, ionizer.. which can be turned on and off! It also comes with the 2 basic attachments, and is really pretty, so my 9 year old enjoys using it too lol Seriously, what else are you looking for in a dryer? Fair price? At $40 this thing is incredible. I would have paid almost double for it. And it works for really well! It doesnt leave me with a head full of static and frizz like the last one.. on the contrary: with the ionizer on my hair dried in about 8 minutes, pin straight and soft... zero frizz. My husband even commented on my hair looking nice... and he does not typically notice things like that. But I could tell too. It dried fast, and didn't feel over-dry. It was actually really nice using this. The perfect dryer in my opinion. And I would totally recommend. A+ on all accounts! And should something go wrong I'll be sure to come back and update review!

I bought this for 2 reasons. 1) I have very thin hair and ion hairdryers make my hair greasy and sad. This was like 1 of 2 that had an ion option and even with the bad reviews I was desperate bc I needed a hair dryer. 2) she’s pretty. It works great for me, diffuser stays on and is easy to get off. I’m not sure if I just hold my dryer weird but the buttons were not a problem for me. I have been using it everyday for over a week and I haven’t accidentally pressed any button I didn’t want to (I’m right handed, even when I was doing a blowout I didn’t press anything and I wasn’t consciously trying not to). I have had expensive and professional dryers before, I’ve had cheap ones, This one gave me pretty good volume and it dried my hair fast. No problems atm.

Took a chance on this hair dryer and am happy that I did. My main reason for choosing it is that you can turn off the ion setting when you don't want it. For me, that is essential. It has incredible "wind" power, and dries hair quickly and gently. I have very fine, straight hair so depend on non-ion flow to get it dry and fluff it up before styling. Once my hair is dry, I use the ion setting on low air flow to add shine and style the ends. This dryer leaves my hair not just perfectly styled, but light, and with movement. I do not use the diffuser so can't comment on it. I have found that the placement of the switches does sometimes result in inadvertently changing a setting, but it's not a deal-breaker for me. If you have fine, straight, longish hair, I think you will really like this dryer. It works perfectly for me!

I was a little hesitant to buy after reading the review about the ill placed controls but once I received the dryer and tried it, I was a big fan. Although it does take a little time to get the hang of using the dryer given the placement of the controls, it's worth it. This dryer is a little heaver than my last one but it works so much better it's worth it. I would buy this model again and recommend it to others.

I have semi-dreaded afro-American hair that I wash every two to three days. I use it every day after getting my hair wet in the shower, and I like it. Drys, my hair quick. It does not fry my hair, and it does not give my hair that burned smell. It leaves my hair shiny. The buttons can get in the way, but not a deal-breaker for me; I have to watch how I place my fingers. I would recommend this dryer if you don't want to spend hundreds on a pro dryer. This dryer is a good dryer for the price, and it has made me appreciate having a quality dryer which does make a difference. I use high heat and blow high using the ion. I noticed that the pink ion button lessens the heat slightly, which I find works best for my hair. I think using the dryer without the ion would eventually dry my hair out. I would recommend using thermal protection oil on your hair if you use the dryer as often as I do.

I read a lot of reviews and investigated all the technology for hair dryers these days. I think the prices of some seemed ridiculous, but, I wanted something that wouldn't stop working in 6 months. Anyway, I went round and round and eventually decided on this dryer. I like the ceramic and adjustible ion 'technology" is the key language etc. And the fact that Conair has been making hair dryers forever. And tbere is a 3 year warranty from Conair. I have only used it a few times, but am very happy so far. It has some weight, but that feels like quality to me. The attachments go on easily and stay on. The control buttons are in a spot where your hand holds the dryer (but what other option is there, your hand will be on the handle no matter what), but I do not find that I am changing the buttons with my hand at all. I have small hands and the strongest grip will be with fingers not the palm/thumb where the controls meet. In my case anyway. I do notice less static in my hair, but not so much less frizz. That could be my little bit of "frizz" may be more split ends, although I did just get a haircut. Anyway, I would say to go ahead and buy this hair dryer, it is a fair price for what seems to be very good quality and a 3 year warranty. Oh, the noise is less than my other dryer (30% less I would say) and the temperature and blower strength are plenty. I have long hair, on the fine side but a lot of it. So, I would say buy it and try it, I think you will be happy and if not Amazon will allow you to return it. I feel this is an excellent hair dryer at a reasonable price (as ridiculous as the cost of hair dryers has gotten, in my opinion just marketing scams to extort your money). I am thinking of buying another one these as a backup because hair dryers may cost $1,000 in 10 years, and hopefully I will get ten out of this. And most of us just want a reliable hair dryer that does a good job and will last, right?

I very seldom leave reviews on Amazon but this blow dryer is awesome!!! I am the kind of person that does research and buys multiple different types of an item to make sure I am getting the best product for the best price!!! This blow dryer is incredible!!!! I was using my mom's Dyson and my hair was always frizzy and dead looking (I have a minor natural curl that makes my hair look way frizzy and dead). I Thought it was all about the products I put in my hair and I have spent a fortune on different hair products to get rid of the frizzy dead look after I blow dry my hair. With this one, my hair is soooo soft!!!! No frizzy and looks like I actually styled it when all I did was just blow dry it. I feel like I am in a commercial where their hair is gorgeous and perfect after I use it!!! Absolutely incredible blow dryer!!!

The hair dryer is very powerful. It has a decent heat setting it’s not too hot. It’s just right. I slick my hair back for work, and it does an amazing job. My hair is thicc and it’s kinda hard to get it to stay down when it’s cold and the pomade hasn’t dried so I hit it with the hair dryer and it keeps my hair down long enough to where it won’t curl. I use mine on the highest setting, with the narrowing tip that comes with it. Helps direct the heat where you want it. Great color. Not too small not too big. Honestly the first time I purchased a hair dryer and I have 0 regrets. If you’re new to styling your hair, I promise that it will change the game for you.

This thing looks great, its light and not too big, it isn't excessively loud and it does a really good job at drying hair!! it's got good power and my family loves it. Might get a second for my Mom.

Was given a product rated for the US. It may have been a one off, as they messaged to say they're low on Singapore stock and sending it from the US. Pretty big oversight, tho.

Exactly as pictured, and arrived within a few days despite delayed shipping! Very beautiful hair dryer, comes with a diffuser and a concentrator (concentrator works good, I've never used the diffuser). It doesn't get overly hot on the warmest setting which is good, you don't have that awful "too hot" feeling that some dryers get. It drys my hair fairly fast, and it isn't too obnoxiously loud. Love it!
