Flow knob hard to turn and tubbing cover didnt stay on and dose not float
I’ve only had this a few weeks, My ponds are small and above ground, for safe viewing and hands on for my grandchildren . Having a solar powered fountain and filter is much safer for small children and allows for flexibility . Very happy with the size and power of the water flow in direct sunlight, the filter is keeping the pond clean, in shade it dose continue at a lower flow, which i expected and am ok with. I’d give it a 5 stars except the end cover where you would attache tubbing to , kept coming off . The last time it came off I couldn’t find it , so the fountain dose not work with out it. Also the flow knob is very hard to turn for adjusting . Just keep those 2 things in mind.

Ethics of a company
POPOSOAP proved to be a very ethical company. My solar pump stopped working at approximately a year. After cleaning the pump per instructions, I contacted the company for further cleaning advice. Rather than ignore the request, they provided an explanation! Once that did not resolve the issue, they (not me) suggested a replacement. Bravo! Thank you!

Good product to enjoy
It is a great product. The water shoots up about 2' when the sun hits the panel. It clears up the water well. The drawback is that it doesn't run too well on a cloudy day. It will pump up water in spurts on a cloudy day every 4-5 secs and shoots up about 4-5"

Impressive simple solution for our small pond
I picked up the POPOSOAP 20W solar pond filter kit for a small backyard pond setup, and overall I’ve been pretty happy with how well it performs for its size. If you’re working with a smaller pond or water feature and want something simple, solar-powered, and low-maintenance, this kit checks a lot of the right boxes. 🌞💧 First off, the 20-watt solar panel is actually more capable than I expected. It provides enough power to keep water circulating steadily throughout the day as long as it’s getting decent sunlight. In our small pond, the flow rate was more than enough to keep the water moving and looking fresh. It’s not meant to replace a large electric filtration system, but for light circulation, oxygenation, and basic filtration, it does the job well. Installation was straightforward. The instructions are plenty detailed enough for anyone to follow. Everything you need comes in the box — panel, pump, tubing, filter pads, bio rings, and multiple spray heads. I appreciated not having to make extra trips to the hardware store just to get it running. Setup took maybe 20–30 minutes total, and most of that was just figuring out which spray head style we liked best. The included filtration media (filter pads, bio ceramic rings, and filter balls) is a nice touch for a solar kit at this price point. It helps improve water clarity and keeps debris from recirculating. It’s not a heavy-duty filtration system, but it definitely makes a noticeable difference compared to running a pump alone. One thing I really liked was the four spray head options. It gives you flexibility depending on whether you want a simple bubbler, a taller fountain look, or just circulation without much splash. We ended up switching between a couple styles before settling on one that worked best for our pond layout. The maximum lift height of about 7.5 feet is impressive on paper, though realistically you’ll get best performance closer to ground level or with shorter fountain heights. Still, it has plenty of strength for most small decorative setups. The biggest takeaway here is sizing. The 20W version was perfect for our small pond, but if you’re working with anything medium-sized or larger, I would definitely recommend stepping up to one of the higher-wattage versions. They’ll give you stronger flow and better filtration coverage. This one handles small ponds really well, but larger spaces would benefit from more power. Another nice bonus is how quiet everything runs. Since it's solar-powered, there’s no wiring hassle and no added electricity cost, which makes it especially convenient for garden areas that don’t have easy outlet access. 🌿 Overall, this is a solid little solar pond filter kit that’s easy to install, runs reliably in sunlight, and includes more filtration components than I expected. Great fit for small ponds, patio water features, or decorative fountains — and if you size it right for your setup, it works exactly like it should.
