Good product to enjoy
It is a great product. The water shoots up about 2' when the sun hits the panel. It clears up the water well. The drawback is that it doesn't run too well on a cloudy day. It will pump up water in spurts on a cloudy day every 4-5 secs and shoots up about 4-5"

Great for small fountains and ponds!
This solar powered pump system is just what we were looking for. We have a small fountain/faux pond near the entrance to our property. It had fallen into disuse for several years. However, we decided to include it in a recent remodel of our home. It now looks great; however, we needed a pump system for the water. This system is very easy to install -- and even easier to use after installation. It has a very decent build quality that is economical (due to the solar power). This makes it a very functional fountain or small pond filter. It's a good size for our fountain. There isn't a lot of power produced; however, it is more than ample to work for our fountain/faux pond. So, I imagine that the higher-powered systems will work even better. As it is, this produces exactly the amount of power and filtration that we need -- with the added value of the spray. It's lovely!

Did not work for me.
I placed this Solar Panel side by side with another panel yesterday. This morning with a little bit of sunlight the other panel worked as though it had been charging all day. This panel didn't get any charge. The manual says to make sure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight without shade. It will work best when facing the sun. I set it up just that way. Perhaps where I live does not get enough light to make this work. The construction appears good. I just wish I could get it to work.

Impressive simple solution for our small pond
I picked up the POPOSOAP 20W solar pond filter kit for a small backyard pond setup, and overall I’ve been pretty happy with how well it performs for its size. If you’re working with a smaller pond or water feature and want something simple, solar-powered, and low-maintenance, this kit checks a lot of the right boxes. 🌞💧 First off, the 20-watt solar panel is actually more capable than I expected. It provides enough power to keep water circulating steadily throughout the day as long as it’s getting decent sunlight. In our small pond, the flow rate was more than enough to keep the water moving and looking fresh. It’s not meant to replace a large electric filtration system, but for light circulation, oxygenation, and basic filtration, it does the job well. Installation was straightforward. The instructions are plenty detailed enough for anyone to follow. Everything you need comes in the box — panel, pump, tubing, filter pads, bio rings, and multiple spray heads. I appreciated not having to make extra trips to the hardware store just to get it running. Setup took maybe 20–30 minutes total, and most of that was just figuring out which spray head style we liked best. The included filtration media (filter pads, bio ceramic rings, and filter balls) is a nice touch for a solar kit at this price point. It helps improve water clarity and keeps debris from recirculating. It’s not a heavy-duty filtration system, but it definitely makes a noticeable difference compared to running a pump alone. One thing I really liked was the four spray head options. It gives you flexibility depending on whether you want a simple bubbler, a taller fountain look, or just circulation without much splash. We ended up switching between a couple styles before settling on one that worked best for our pond layout. The maximum lift height of about 7.5 feet is impressive on paper, though realistically you’ll get best performance closer to ground level or with shorter fountain heights. Still, it has plenty of strength for most small decorative setups. The biggest takeaway here is sizing. The 20W version was perfect for our small pond, but if you’re working with anything medium-sized or larger, I would definitely recommend stepping up to one of the higher-wattage versions. They’ll give you stronger flow and better filtration coverage. This one handles small ponds really well, but larger spaces would benefit from more power. Another nice bonus is how quiet everything runs. Since it's solar-powered, there’s no wiring hassle and no added electricity cost, which makes it especially convenient for garden areas that don’t have easy outlet access. 🌿 Overall, this is a solid little solar pond filter kit that’s easy to install, runs reliably in sunlight, and includes more filtration components than I expected. Great fit for small ponds, patio water features, or decorative fountains — and if you size it right for your setup, it works exactly like it should.

Easy to Assemble but Limited Power
The POPOSOAP Solar Pond Filter with Fountain Pump is a convenient and eco-friendly option for adding a water feature to my garden pond. Assembly was a breeze—it was easy to set up, and I had it running in no time. The solar-powered design is a great touch, as it saves on electricity and operates without complicated wiring. However, I did find that the 20W power output is somewhat limited. It works well on sunny days but struggles on cloudy days or in shaded areas. The water flow is decent but not as strong as I had hoped for creating a more dramatic fountain or waterfall effect. Overall, it’s a functional and environmentally friendly choice for smaller ponds or water features, but don’t expect powerful water movement. If you’re looking for a simple, low-maintenance fountain pump, this is a good option. Just be aware of the power limitations on less sunny days.

Solar power!
I recently received this solar-powered pond fountain, and overall, I’ve been really pleased with how it works! Setting it up was straightforward, and I love how it's solar powered; perfect for someone like me who wants a water feature in an area without nearby power outlets. I love the peaceful sound of the water flow. Since I used a rock and fed the water directly to it, I didn't have a need for the extra heads, but it's useful that they are supplied. I have the 20W size, which fits well for my small pond, and the panel captures sunlight efficiently, keeping the pump running smoothly throughout the day, although with heavy cloud, it doesn't produce enough power to pump. That said, I noticed a couple of drawbacks. The panel is quite large and very noticeable, so if your pond isn’t near a structure to mount it on, they might stick out more than expected. I do wish it came with an option to power it with an alternative source if there isn't enough sunlight for it to work. However, as you can see from the photos that the water is quite clear and before I installed the pump, there was so much algae in the water you couldn't see the fish unless they came to the surface. It cleared the water in just a few days and we didn't have that much sunshine. Still, it’s a solid option for a solar-powered water feature. If you’re looking for a cost-saving and environmentally friendly option for your pond, I’d definitely recommend this fountain.
