Very impressive grill that does pretty much everything
I've watched several videos before purchasing the FlexFlame Grill and having several Ninja products that have been nothing but great I had to have the grill. The packaging is very well done. Everything inside is packaged with lots of protection. Directions are very easy to follow. The screws are even marked by steps. It doesn't take long to put together. So far I have made a whole chicken, potatoes, asparagus, smash burgers, a Ribeye and a pizza. All have come out amazing because of the fan that circulates the air. The food cooks evenly. Chicken comes out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The pizza actually came out better than the Ninja pizza oven meant for pizza. The cons would be no side hooks on the grill with the silver version. There is a black version that has the hooks. I don't know if its just my grill, but the igniting can be stubborn at times. I have to do it several times. The temperatures aren't always consistent. For example, I put it on low and slow at 225 degrees and it was going up to 248 degrees. I was using the smoker function and don't know if the fan had anything to do with it. There's no back to the grill and is open yet there's front doors. Kind of an odd design. A window in the front would have been nice in my opinion. Since it has the fan and smoker you do have to plug it it besides using propane with it. This is only an issue if you don't have a plug nearby. You still have to use an extension cord with it and although they just tell you to use an outdoor rated one, I would recommend a 12 gauge, 14 at a minimum. The wood pellets only last about 30-45 minutes before you have to refill them. Pros besides the ability to cook pretty much anything and well is time can be cut by a lot vs a traditional grill, its easy to clean, the grill heats up to temperature really quickly, you can use it with just gas vs having to use the fan with the hood down and there's a 10 year warranty on it. If you want a grill that can make a variety of things and even pizza it is a good choice.

In a class of its own, unbelievable, a must buy!
I have owned many grills, griddles, and smokers. Everything from Webers to Kirkland Signature. There is simply nothing on the market like this grill. A few things to know. I've been cooking with it every day for the past few days. I made prime stakes, tenderloin, burgers, sausages, and ribs. Everything came out looking and tasting amazing. The ribs were cooked on the grill only. Something I could have never done before. Fall off the bone tender and smokey delicious. Pros + Insanely even cooking. There are no hot or cold spots. None. This is a first grill at any budget that I have owned that cooks this evenly. + Heats up very quickly + Hold the temperature where it's set and is surprisingly accurate + High quality materials and even though the base cabinet is not stainless steel, it is a heavy gauge and is powder coated + The smoker function is brilliant and works exactly as intended + Punches well above its weight. It's only 38,000 BTUs (or there about) but has no trouble reaching and sustaining 600° + Related to the bullet above, it's more efficient than similarly performing grill, thus cost less to operate and requires less frequent trips to exchange or refill your tank + Drip tray is large and easy to access + Double-sided grates are well made. It's a triangular design with one side being wide (great for searing and contact) and the other side pointed (great for smoking and slow cooking) Cons - You need to buy additional products to get all the features. In fairness, Ninja is very transparent about it, so you know this going in. On the plus side, you can choose what you want (full griddle vs half griddle, etc.) - No cover is included and the one made for this is relatively low quality but expensive - They applied silicone seal on the back and it's the messiest job I've ever seen. Certainly doesn't look premium - Must be plugged in, which limits where you can place it or use it Overall, incredible grill. It's really more of an outdoor cooking appliance than simply a grill. There is nothing like it on the market and it delivers by far the best results I've seen. It's easy to cook with, cooks faster, and the flexibility to easily and quickly add smoke is simply brilliant. I love this thing and would highly recommend it. It's well worth the price, even with the extras purchased separately.

Awesome Grill
It’s incredible grill that is so easy to use. I love the functionality with the 10 year warranty. Everything I cooked on this grill turned out amazing. This is above and beyond the average grill. Love the fact you can slow cook ribs and brisket with smoker function or grill a steak or burgers at high temperature. The cooking methods are so versatile .and offers a wide range of cooking styles.

Works great in warm weather.
This is a fantastic grill that will save you gas and cook things faster in the process. That said, the hood is very thin and even winter in a tropical climate has it struggle to maintain temperature. Invest in an insulating blanket for grills like Traeger sells and you will do fine.

It’s like using an oven but it’s a grill.
Had this grill for almost a year. It is the best grill I’ve ever owned. It cooks with even heat and controlled temperature. You get the benefit of convection cooking but with a grill. No more flare ups. Set it at desired temp and grill maintains temp. It has a smoker feature. Add pellets and gives you that smoky flavor. While it doesn’t use pellets for the heat source , it fills the inside with smoke for a nice gentle wood flavor when you feel the need. Add pizza stone and cooks even temp like using an oven, plus add pellets and now it’s a wood fired pizza without the hassle

Lasted One Week
Lasted one week before malfunctioning. Worked great when it did work. The food was cooked perfectly and the added smokey flavoring from the smoker box added a great addition to the food. What ended up happening is that the pilot stopped functioning properly. There are two igniter rods and one stopped working leaving half of the pilot gas rod dead. The gas also stopped flowing through the main pipes leaving the grill a nice patio ornament. Thank goodness this happened within the return window and Amazon had a service to come get it. The positives of the grill if you buy a working one: -Easy to use on/off function -Grates are easy to clean when needed. -Smoker box is also easy to refill and maintain during the cooking process. -Trays are easy to remove under the grill to clean the grease from cooking and the ash from using the smoker box. -Temperature control is a nice feature in case you want to slow cook your food. Hopefully other people have better luck than I did if you decide to still give this grill a go.

Fantastic Grill
Decided to purchase this grill to replace my old Char-Grille. Options to grill, smoke and control temperature (allowing for cooking using 1, 2 or all 3 burners) I found interesting. Overall construction is great. Internals remove easily for cleaning (a major plus). Smoking option has provided a great flavor to foods. I bought the KONA pellets (recommended by Ninja), which have a large flavor selection. Price is up there, but considering the construction quality and cooking options, its well worth the price.

Great Grill
There are plenty of videos out there, and yes—you really do get a smoke flavor, similar to a pellet grill. I typically use the top rack for the best results. One important thing to note is pellet choice: Ninja pellets are 100% real wood, whereas most pellet grill pellets are made up of roughly 20% flavor wood (like apple) and 80% filler wood that’s primarily used to generate heat. Don’t be fooled by the idea of a smoke ring, though—it’s purely aesthetic. It’s no different than a crosshatch pattern on a steak; it looks nice, but it doesn’t add to the flavor or texture of the meat. Thanks to the convection fan, this cooker circulates heat extremely well and significantly cuts down cooking time. You can make amazing chicken wings in a very short amount of time. The FlexFlame feature is excellent—it truly is a “set it and forget it” system and was one of the main reasons I chose this grill. It performs right up there with other grill types on the market. That said, cooking styles vary considerably between gas, charcoal, smokers, and open flame. A good starting point is what’s outlined in the Ninja cookbook—use that as a solid base and adjust from there as you gain experience.
