Hours of fun
Every cat I've ever had LOVES this toy. I like that it has a part for them to stick their paw in and the little mouse makes a mouse sound. The battery powered tail moving around also keeps them entertained for hours. A very smart toy.

My cats are obsessed, but battery change is a hassle
This laser pointer toy is my cats' absolute favorite — they could chase it around all day long! The only downside is that changing the batteries requires a tiny screwdriver, which I don’t have, so I still haven’t been able to replace them. Great toy, but wish it were easier to open.

It works. I like that it has a rechargeable battery.
It does keep our cat entertained, but not something that our cat chases. She stares at it like it is a dumb creature that bumps into furniture and brooms and whatever else is in the way. Our dog stares at it the same way. It is a change of pace for our pets. They are entertained by the robot's running around and bumping into things. The challenge for me is finding it when it ends up under one of our many heavy pieces of furniture and stops chirping due to the battery needing to be recharged. I only find it when I decide to move furnitue to clean up whatever ended up underneath (e.g. pet fur). It is durable. I do use it. It is much better than other toys I bought for our cat. Worth getting as an additional toy.

Great idea... Poor execution
Can't recommend this at all. The design is close to the being perfect. However, build quality is very poor.Design issue...the small and large wheels pick up all manner of debris. I keep the floors fairly clean. Probably not eat off them clean, but not messy. This little thing gets into all the places where you can't clean easily so it finds all the little dust bunnies etc all over your house. The issue is that hairs and debris get wound around the axles of the wheels. After a single hour of run time, I could see the wheels were starting to slow down. Then it abruptly stopped after bumping into a wall. That's when I went to inspect and found all the debris wrapped around the wheel axles. In order to clean it, you have to open the unit. They clearly don't want you to do this. All the screws are covered with little plastic fillers clearly not meant to be removed. When I finally got the unit open, I discovered a) it would take a massive amount of time to fully disassemble, clean and reassemble the unit and b) one of the wires soldered onto the control board had broken off. That must be why it stopped abruptly after hitting a wall.So...Hopefully they or someone else will revisit this design and come up with a way to improve build quality and create an easier way to clean out the wheels.Too bad... The cat absolutely loved it.

Boring
The cats did not play with it after one day. It isn’t that amusing :

Cat loves it after 48 hours!
My cat loves it very much. From the moment I opened it, he was already smelling the package out of curiosity and I had to put the feather tail in a different room because he was getting excited and was about to know what was inside the box. And one to three minutes later, he wasn't sure what it is until 48 hours later that he started chasing it! Highly recommend it!

Cat loves it!!
My cat loves this! She can paw at its "hair" on the top and activate by herself! I'm at about 4 months and getting shorter play time. When you touch it, it starts up spinning, shining it's red dot light, and chirps like normal-- but only for 30 secs. It used to go much longer. I have replaced batteries but still, short playtime barely entertains kitty now and she is walks away:( Still a great toy!

Actually
My cats actually love the hide mouse one. I thought for sure they wouldn’t because only the tail moves and they have to bat the mouse inside. But guess what, they love it so much haha. To the point I had to put it on a shelf when I sleep at night because they play with it and even drag it around d the house lol lol. Easy to set up. Small and cute. You have to use your own battery so the life depends on the batteries you use. Value for money… they love this weird toy so yes. 🙂↕️
