This is a great belt. It's really good looking and works well. It's got just enough stretchiness to where it never digs into your hips, but also does it's job. Although the buckle looks metal, it is plastic. After some use though I wouldn't consider it a bad thing. The belt is super lightweight and the clip-in works perfectly.

I bought 3 of these at once, and they're pretty great. The one issue I have is that one of the belts the elastic band that holds the (extra) belt after you buckle is a little loose so throughout the day, I will find the tail end of the belt will come out of the elastic. It's only one of them that does it, the other 2 are perfect and stay in place. I don't see anywhere to buy a replacement elastic band or anything so I'll just live with it, it's not a huge deal, just a little annoyance that I have to fix 2-3 times a day while I'm out.

I was skeptical about spending over $50 on a belt. But this appears to be a belt that should last a long, long time and still look great. The adjustability is easy once you get used to it and provides for easy changes that won't leave marks on the strap. I will likely be purchasing other colors in the near future. Highly recommended!

I really wanted to love this update to the Arcade lineup. I’ve been a fan of their belts for a while, specifically for the TSA-friendly convenience. While this new version definitely levels up the aesthetics, it makes a significant trade-off in both functionality and travel ease. The Good: A More "Grown-Up" Look The redesigned buckle is undeniably more stylish than the original. It doesn't look like outdoor utility gear; it looks like a legitimate fashion choice that fits in at the office or a nice dinner. The Bad: Friction & "Flap" Issues The shift to an outside-the-strap slack (mimicking a traditional belt) is where the design misses the mark. • The Struggle is Real: The combination of the rubberized grip on the buckle and the friction of the strap material makes this a chore to use. Unlike the original where the strap glides, this one fights you. Threading it through loops—and worse, taking it off—is a constant tug-of-war. • The "Silver End" Eyesore: Because the slack sits on the outside, the silver hardware at the tip of the strap sticks out awkwardly. On the original, the slack stayed hidden against your waist for a sleek profile. Here, it’s just bulky. The Dealbreaker: No Longer TSA-Proof The biggest disappointment? This updated model will trigger metal detectors. While the original was the gold standard for "belt-on" security screening, the metal components in this "stylish" update mean you’re back to the "belt off, belt on" dance at the airport. It defeats one of the primary reasons many of us buy Arcade in the first place. Final Verdict The buckle is a 5-star look, but the strap and hardware are a 1-star experience for anyone who values efficiency. By trying to look more like a traditional belt, Arcade sacrificed the "hidden" comfort and travel-readiness that made them famous. If you prioritize style over everything, you might like it—but frequent flyers should stick to the original.

Love this belt. For work or casual this belt is extremely comfortable. With just the right amount of stretch. The buckle design and function make it a great everyday belt.

Arcade misses again. This is my second belt from them and they both have let me down. Although this belt holds my pants in place; the unfinished edge of the belt material catches/grabs on every shirt. It's so abrasive that is just grabs any shirt that I wear and holds to it like Velcro. Reach up high for something and my shirt grabs onto the belt and stays pulled up until I release it from the belt. I bought this as a light weight travel belt for a three month trip to Thailand. On paper it should have been perfect. However in reality it that it's a cheaply made belt who's function is diminished by poor craftsmanship. Seeing that I bought this in 2025 and the other poorly made belt from Arcade almost 10 years before....this is my last purchase from this company...and I'd love to get my money back.

Great everyday belt even though it’s a bit expensive. Love that it can be any size you need it to be.
