Q: Will this camera work with lg tv model 55ub8500-ua?

Skype no longer supports or updates any interactivity with new smart TV (including LG) camera devices. On your model, the camera will probably "work" outside of Skype but only to view or capture whatever is in view; basically a fixed position dumb camera now that will not work with Skype.

Q: Will this camera allow me to use skype on my 65uh7700 4k tv ?

No it won't. That's what I got it for. I'm very disappointed. All it allows me to do is take pictures and videos
