If you follow the instructions then yes. I wiped my intake down with alcohol and that tape is still holding strong.

Can I use this for exhaust headers?

This is not the correct product, you will want an exhaust heat wrap

Will this tape leave residue after taking the tape off?

If there is quite a bit of heat.......like above 150 degrees.....I'd say yes. In my application- the tape receives no more than 105 degrees.

Can this be used on a radiator hose and would it be practicle for that use?

I used it to wrap black intake tubes above a turbo. it helps reflect that radiant heat so imagine it would do the same for radiator hoses. Just make sure they are clean, maybe rubbing alcohol, to help with adhesion.
