these vacuum sealer bags are excellent. I've used them for a couple years now and they work amazingly well. I played with the adjustments on my chamber vac to get them to work at the timing and I cannot be happier. the edges are well stamped and sealed, the bags are good thickness and the quality is perfect. I have zero cons to report, i have no issues with the bags sealing unless I make it an issue by getting the sealing side wet by loading them incorrectly or in a way that spreads "juice" where i am sealing it, and that interferes the the sealing times. That's on me though, not the bag. I highly recommend this bag for chamber sealers, i have a counter top sealer but have not tried them on those machines.

So, I've purchased these several times. Thus far I've had no real issues. Over the past few years I've had 2 take on air and the contents ruined, but they were bags I used for bones that I make bone broth out of. I am constantly sealing chicken carcasses and steak bones for that purpose. While they are probably puncture-resistant, they are not puncture-proof. I've also had Food saver bags fail or refuse to seal. My loss average is about the same with both. I've kept frozen foods sealed for more than 2 years with no visible freezer burn. I use my vacuum sealer for everything. If I have leftover onion, I dice it up and pop it in the freezer. I'm hard on my bags because I open and re-seal like with diced onions or other diced vegetables. I open them, take out what I need then reseal. I've not had any issues with that. I now seal lemon and lime juice in ice trays rather than toss them out. Those often have sharp edges, with no problems so far. For the value, there is no comparison. These are by far less costly than competitors and from what I've been able to tell, equally as sturdy. I've purchased all sizes and done so multiple times and highly recommend you give them a try.

Ordered to make it easier to process wild game VS cutting off a roll. 1gallon size are perfect as hold 2+ pounds of ground meat, steaks and other cuts. Only limitation is open end width if have someting wide. Every bag vac sealed on 1st attempt and having 3 sides already sealed made the task easier, quicker with a consistant final product. Used about 50 of the 200 bags so plenty left for next year deer season, corn, cranberries and/or other deep freeze needs. We certainly used a large enough sample to come to a conclusion. Skip the rolls and go to the pre-cut bags. You will not be disappointed.

I use these all the time! They are an amazing time saver to meal prep and leftovers to freeze for another day. I call them my MREs ........ Mom's Ready to Eats. I drop the sealed bag in cool water to defrost! Then into a container or plate pop it in the microwave or in pot and within minutes you have a delicious hot meal. Made by you. Not take out! Not skip the dishes or Uber eats. These save me time and a lot of money
