Memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew Review: Fascinating - Fascinating book if you're interested in politics and international affairs. Lee Kwan Yew was a remarkable man and it is amazing what he and his team achieved with Singapore, which could so easily have ended up in a much worse place, rather than being the success story that it is. A lot of the credit must go to him. Review: Great book - Great insight on how he developed Singapore and the vast challenges he faced.

Late Yew and Singsporeโs transformation under his leadership.
This is actually a gift. I bought a personal copy for myself some years ago, and had shared it so much that I decided to give one of my kids and her spouse a copy for,Xmas. I love it; should be a must-read for kleptocratic rulers around the world, especially in 3d World Countries one of which is my origin, a caveat. IT WAS RECEIVED MONTHS AGO. PLS UPDATE RECORD. Spells out the recipe for Singapore's success chapter by chapter
Volume one was terrific, describing how LKY came to political maturity and how independent Singapore was born, strongly recommend reading that first. Volume two delivers on its promise of a detailed recipe for how a tiny island with no resources was grown into a first world country: ingredients, measurements, instructions for combining and baking; he explains it all. Makes it clear there was no mystery or magic, but rather extraordinary hard work, intelligence, energy and ethical discipline. It is fitting with LKY's lifelong dedication to the public good that he left the world this instruction book in case it is useful for future societies.

This man knows how we should select a president! Psychological evaluation!
What a guy. This man single-handedly developed Singapore to succeed. Only a genius could have recognized all the factors to make this strange city survive and be an enormous power. Listen to what he did and what he thinks and you will become important.
