Awesome stroller! This will be my second time buying this stroller.
Only ONE negative: The only thing I am not liking is the break placement. It’s so ackward to put on the break as it’s very stiff but that may go away once broken in and just as difficult to release it. I can’t use the parent console up as high as I used to on the older version because the break handle gets in the way plus if there was a cup in a console it would definitely be in the way. Placing the parent console lower on the bar is of course an option but the interferes when my daughter is on the riding bench, it would be innher face. Pros: it’s strong, sturdy, seats are beautiful and large and deep, recline and canopy are awesome. My 4.5 and 1.5 yr old love it and fit really good in the seats. Yes it’s a bit long but that doesn’t bother me especially when I get to see my kids napping comfortably and yes it’s heavy but also worth it. p.s. Sold my Bugaboo Donkey to buy this again!

fantastic stroller
We purchased this stroller when we found out we were having twins. We already had a Bob, but wanted something for daily use that was a little more compact. We are very pleased with this stroller. It folds up fairly flat, leaving plenty of room in the back of our car for additional items. It opens and closes very easily, a simple clip will release it for opening and clip it back together. It is a heavier stroller, but we didn't mind the weight. The handle has a button that allows you to adjust the height of it; my husband would raise it to his preferred level and it was simple to readjust when I used it. The brake is a little stiff when you first use it, but nothing a little use won't fix. The storage basket underneath it provides plenty of storage space. Overall a fantastic stroller, and definitely one to last through multiple kids.

Loooove this Stroller!
I just got this stroller so these are my initial observations. I will update this review after my second kiddo comes and we REALLY test it out. For starters, If you are a “one & done” family or this is your last baby and your older ones don’t need a stroller, I would probably suggest something a little lighter/smaller. This stroller has some heft to it, but if carrying two kids, I prefer that as it feels safer to me. Pros... - Feels very sturdy & well made, nice material - I really like how the hand break works as opposed to many that are foot breaks - The bottom is very roomy & I love the extra pockets on the back of the seat - The wheels maneuver easily and it’s a smooth ride - The seat reclines easily and I love how far the canopy comes down My 2 year old daughter LOVES it. Literally just likes to sit in it to watch TV at home Cons... - It’s a little tall, however, I feel like that is unavoidable to be able to fit two seats on the frame. Unfortunately, I’m only 5’2” so it’s something I’m going to have to adjust too. (My 6’2” hubs LOVES it) - Being a small person this thing is heavy to pull out for one kid...but as I said earlier, I don’t mind this since we purchased it to support two kids. *Edited after 9 months of use... I can’t love this stroller enough! It fits both of my kids, the configuration options are perfect, its still easy to push! I will say that if they are both in the seats and need to lay back they have to be facing me (not an issue), and if my 3 year old is riding in the front seat and my son isn’t in the upper seat it can be a little harder to steer. These aren’t complaints, just observations. The only complaint I have is that I’d really like to throw the seats into the washing machine, but I haven’t done so because of the metal bar attached :( Makes getting them cleaned up harder.

A double stroller where kids can face each other
We bought this stroller after some search for a double stroller that is not too wide (as to fit through our basement door with the kids strapped in) and where the kids can face each other. Thus we flipped the front seat so one kids faces the other and the person pushing the stroller. We got the stroller in Feb 2019 and were very happy. By around July 2020 the front wheels were a bit wobbly. Thus if you push the stroller, the front wheels would bounce left and right and prevent you from going fast. Based on some online recommendations, I cut out some plastic and put it between the left wheel and the frame. On the right side, I could not get the wheel separated from the stroller anymore. After contacting baby-jogger / Newell, they sent me a new frame. And it works again perfectly. GREAT: + slim stroller + kids can face each other + overall sturdy + kid facing forward is sitting very comfortably with suspension + Newell was very responsive and sent us a new frame after 1.5 year of purchase ISSUES: - if you have a second kid sitting at the front of the stroller, it seems to take a bigger toll on the frame and the wheels became wobbly after a 1.5 years of daily use.

Didn't know whether to give this 4 or 5 stars...
Ok, so this is my first rather expensive stroller. I mean, I don't do cheap strollers, but have never spent this much before. My last double stroller was the contour options stroller. It lasted us a good 4 years. I LOVED how big the basket was for storage, and all the seat configurations, and honestly almost bought the newer version of that stroller, because it's half the price of this one, but my husband hated the size of it. Though it honestly didn't bother me all that much. So I decided to look up the smallest double stroller with the same or better seat configurations. This stroller beats the contour in size by several inches, and has more configurations available. It comes with less accessories out of the box, but you can buy more later...which is nice, but a bummer too, because of the added cost. The baby jogger seems quite well made. Love the fabric. The seats look roomie, and comfortable. In fact my 2 year old didn't want to get out of it when I was trying it out for the first time. The ride is a smooth ride, and the maneuverability is nice, even in small places. I was able to walk down the hallway in my house and go in and out of rooms without much trouble. What you gain in maneuverability due to the compact size of this stroller, you lose in accessibility, and use of all the stroller's abilities. If both seats are facing forward, you can't recline them all the way back (at least with 2 older kids in the seats). With both seats facing forward, you can't fold both seats into closing position, without taking the front seat off, folding it, and putting it back on. Honestly, if you want the most compact fold, I'd take the front seat off, fold it. Fold the stroller, and rest the front seat on top of the stroller unattached. It rests nicely on top, and saves more space, than if it were attached, and saves the hassle of attaching and reattaching the seat just to unfold it. The nice thing about this stroller is the fact that it can be folded with the seats in any configuration(though in upright position). The compact of the fold depends on the configuration the seats are in. My contour, the seats had to be in forward facing, upright position. I played around with the configurations of the seats, and folded them all to see which was the most convenient and compact, and allowed you to use the most abilities of the stroller. I found that the best position for us was the seats both facing in opposite directions. This allowed for access into the basket. It also allowed both seats to recline, and also gives the stroller the smallest imprint while in use. Both seats can be folded closed without being removed, and while in the closed position, it's not the most compact, it still allows you to use the space between the seats as storage space, if you have to pack the back of your car full. So this is the position I plan on using predominantly. The reason I decided to give this stroller 4 stars and not 5, was not due to accessibility, because I understand if I want the most compact stroller, you have to make compromise, but it was due to the struggle of use with the buttons. Incline buttons were a struggle to use, and at times access. The fold mechanism for the stroller was a struggle. You kinda have to shake it, and wiggle it, before it moves out of the lock position to fold. That was annoying. I also don't like how high up the second seat is while folded. I imagine that's why you are able to fold it in any seat configuration, but just seems a little excessively high. We are also going to be using this stroller with the glider board. The nice thing about the glider board is that is folds with the stroller rather nicely. My 5 year old can sit comfortably on it, or stand. I'm really glad I bought it. We also bought the cooler that straps to the stroller. It also doesn't have to be removed when the stroller is closed, even with the glider board attached. I imagine it will come in handy. Currently I will be using this stroller with a 2 yo, 4 yo, and 6 yo(who are pretty petite for their age. They are short, and all weigh less than 40lbs). I could imagine this stroller being kind of tight for kids that are on the taller side. We are taking a trip to Legoland, and I will update after the trip. I am also pregnant with my 4th, and will update the use of this stroller with a newborn. I don't like the fact that this stroller doesn't come with the car seat adapter, like my contour did, but it is what it is. Honestly, if size wasn't a factor, the new contour options would have been my pick, but it was, so the baby jogger was the way to go, and I'm quite happy with my purchase.

I’ve had two Baby Joggers and I still love them!
This is our second City Select. Our first was the regular City Select with the double seats. It worked fantastically for traveling with both my kids by myself. But now that my son is older, he needed a seat other than the stroller seat. We had the glider board for our regular CS but he didn’t get to sit down and on long layovers I felt like he needed an actual seat. Enter the CS Lux! Honestly I hate that Baby Jogger doesn’t make a bench seat for their regular CS, I feel like it’s a marketing ploy because the Lux is pretty much the same as the regular and much cheaper CS. The bench seat is the only reason I got this one. Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. The reason I LOVE this stroller are as follows: -super easy maneuverability. My son weighs 45lbs and my daughter weighs 30lbs and I can pretty much steer this one-handed, and take very tight corners. -folding is a cinch. It’s lighter than my regular CS, and can even be folded with the bench seat attached. It does take two hands, but I just have the kids stand next to me at the gate at the airport while folding. -the wheels are rubber, so the never deflate. We live on a dirt/gravel road in Alaska and I’ve never had an issue. This thing can go over pretty much everything. It goes on snow pack, and through slush pretty well when our snow finally melts. -huge storage underneath. The sides of the basket are a strong but flexible mesh, so you can kind of shove whatever you need in there and it just expands as needed. -higher weight limit. The stroller seats can hold up to 45lbs each, and the bench seat(sold separately) can hold up to 65lbs. Cons(there aren’t many, but a few): -the stroller seat doesn’t recline with the bench seat attached(which isn’t a big deal to most people here, as this review is for the stroller not the separate attachment). -I do wish it was a one-handed fold, but honestly it’s not that big of a deal -it’s heavier than some single strollers, but it’s because of the solid frame and really well made rubber wheels. -it comes with no attachments or accessories whatsoever. You have to purchase everything separately from Baby Jogger which again, I think is kind of a marketing ploy but I digress. All in all, you get what you pay for, and this stroller is the Cadillac of all strollers in my opinion. Very very well made, no cheap plastic parts. It’s made for the long haul for sure!

Awesome stroller for kids with an age gap.
I LOVE THIS STROLLER . I debated on whether I wanted to spend so much on a stroller for MONTHS. At the time I purchased it it was for our newborn and 3.5 year old. I was really on the fence about whether it was worth buying due to the age of my oldest but and it totally was. We’ve had it for a year now and still use it almost daily with either the two seats, or one seat and graco car seat attachment. We take a lot of walks in poorly paved areas and this stroller does really well. With two kids in it (weighing 35 and 20lbs) it’s a little difficult to push in grass or large gravel, but definitely doable. The telescoping handle is a great feature as I am a little taller and otherwise end up kicking the wheels. The variety in seat configurations are also awesome. My now 4 year old is taller than average and can still comfortably sit in the seats and doesn’t want to upgrade to the bench seat yet. The storage basket underneath is pretty sizable too. We will often use this stroller to run into the grocery store when needing just a few items and fill up the bottom. Also a huge plus is that this stroller fits in the back of our Fiat (with the seats removed.) This stroller is heavy (honestly though, any double pretty much is) and it does take a couple of minutes to set up/take it apart which is something that would have bothered me when I had one kid, but with two kids, everything takes us forever anyway. My only real complaint with this stroller would be that you have to buy all the accessories separately (snack trays, cup holders etc) Causing this stroller to get pretty expensive. It’s also important to note that the seats aren’t for children under 6months so for a newborn you’d have to purchase a car seat adaptor or a bassinet. All that said, I would absolutely buy this stroller again.

High quality stroller, you definitely get what you pay for with it. :)
So far, after about a month and a half with this stroller, we still love it. It collapses very neatly, is very sturdy, and very high quality. The storage holds A TON of stuff. Myself and baby flew without my partner across the US with this stroller. It was able to hold baby (of course), my carryon suitcase, an overstuffed backpack, and my cooler for pumping. Incredible! It made flying SUPER easy. To get it through security, we did have to take off the wheels to get it to fit in the XRay machine, though, they wheels just come off with the click of a button and snap right back in. The fabric on this stroller is also very nice and quality, as well. We take this stroller everywhere! We did get an organizer for the handlebar to hold phones/wallet/drinks. When finding one, make sure you look for one that attaches to either side, and not the top of the handle, since it does have a handbrake and a button to extend the height of the handlebar.
