Great and Super fun with vintage feel
Love this camera! It's very easy to use. It doesn't come charged, so if you're having trouble with it, plug it in (hold the power button to turn it on). There are three lights on the bottom left: battery, printing, and SD card. If the battery is white, it's fine to use, if printing is white, it's printing, and if SD card is red there's no micro SD (white means there is). The pictures it takes are super cute and very fun, but don't buy this if you're expecting iPhone or other camera quality pictures. They're different than polaroid prints, but are very similar quality to cameras from the early 2000s/2010s or so. You can see everything but it's not going to be super vivid and the color will be a little off. Also, try to take pictures in light, but as you can see in the last photo, the camera won't always adjust to super bright light like another camera would. I bought this as the used (like new description) and it was in perfect condition. The box had a slight mark but had never been opened. This product comes with 10 sheets of paper, but if you're looking to buy more, amazon has HP Zink 2x3 sticky back paper that is cheaper than the Kodak brand of the same exact thing, and works just as well. Really no difference, just a few dollars more. Last thing: in the instruction manual it comes with, the black and white vs color switch instructions seem to be slightly wrong. If you can see the three colorful dots, your photo will come out in color. If the dots are grey and black, it'll be black and white. The manual seemed to reverse this, so I figured I'd mention it. :)

Low Quality photos
I really wanted to love the KODAK Printomatic because the idea is so much fun. If you grew up in the '80s or '90s, there's something really nostalgic about taking a picture and having it print instantly on sticky-back paper. For the experience alone, I'd give it an **8/10**. Unfortunately, the **photo quality is terrible**. I'm a white woman, and every single picture makes me look completely washed outโlike a ghost. I took photos with friends of different skin tones, and we joked that we looked like a s'more: one friend looked like the chocolate, another like the marshmallow, and I was basically the graham cracker... except you could barely see the marshmallow or the graham cracker because the lighter skin tones were so overexposed. The worst part is that **lighting didn't seem to matter**. We tried indoors, outdoors, bright sunlight, shade, with the sun behind us, and with the light in front of us. The results were consistently disappointing. Faces lacked detail, colors were faded, and everything looked overexposed and low quality. For a camera that costs around **$65**, I expected much better. I wasn't expecting professional-quality photos, but I did expect something decentโmaybe a **3โ5 out of 10** for image quality. Instead, I'd honestly rate the photo quality a **1/10**, maybe even **0/10**. I'll upload photos with this review so you can judge for yourself. **Pros:** * Fun, nostalgic instant-print experience. * Sticky-back prints are great for journals, scrapbooks, and memory books. * Simple to use. **Cons:** * Extremely poor photo quality. * Lighter skin tones become washed out. * Colors are dull and inconsistent. * Lighting changes make little to no difference. * Not worth the price if image quality matters. **Overall:** If you're buying this for the nostalgia and don't mind low-quality prints, you might still have fun with it. But if you're expecting decent-looking photos, I'd skip it. The concept is greatโthe execution just isn't.

more for fun than anything good looking
works fine, and can take around a full pack and a half at most before you'd have to charge it again. the charging cable is micro (why) so it's slow for a full charge- a couple hours. it prints through heat, and it's best not to shake the camera while it's printing. they say to take a picture/print one at a time, but i've found that you can queue up pictures to print. ALSO!! even if you don't have film and only want the digital photos, it will STILL RUN THE PRINTING PROCESS even WITHOUT film! i'd say this is for casual enjoyers who maybe want to capture and print quick photos and stick in their journals (like i do). the photo quality (digitally) is fine, cute, whatever, but the print quality is extremely spotty at best. visible heat lines and colors simply leaning wayyy too purple sometimes. but it's whatever, if i wanted GOOD looking photos i would have bought something else, but the best aspect about the kodak printomatic has to be the film it uses and the fact they can act as stickers.

Dropped it a few times, doesn't print anymore
Bought it for my 5 year old so he could have a camera that doesn't have a screen or games and prints right away. He loved it until it broke! Dropped it a few times by mistake, and now it doesn't print anything when you take a photo - it just bends the paper a bit so you can see that it tried to print. Poor picture quality. Would love a cheaper version of this - I'm not going to replace it at this price!

Love, Love
When Kodak announced they will release a Zink instant camera, I could not be happier. As an owner of the Polaroid Zink Snap and Fuji Instax 9, I couldnโt wait to get my hands on one. Growing up we always had Kodak around the house, and we have many pictures that we printed with our Kodakโs. And I am very excited about the Printomatic First of all for the price of $69.99 it is a great value, and the design looks great, you can choose a yellow or grey color version. The Zink quality is great with the camera. Included in the box is: Printomatic, USB cable, QSG, Hand Strap. (Note no paper is included so make sure you get some of those as well) Even though Fuji Instax is similar price, Instax quality doesnโt compare to the Kodak Zink quality. Also with Kodak it is a digital camera so you can save the pictures you take, and most important cost per print is $0.50 for Zink and it is close to $1 for Fuji It was very simple to insert the paper into the camera back door, just make sure blue paper is facing downwards , which will print out in first print and it cleans the camera Very simple to use, choose color or black and white option, then just snap. And picture will print out very fast. All in all I highly recommend this as your instant option

๐ธ Instant Fun with KODAK Printomatic! ๐ธ
The KODAK Printomatic is so much fun! I took it to a family gathering, and it was a hit with everyone. The ability to snap a photo and instantly have a colorful print in my hands brings back all the nostalgic vibes of instant cameras. The colors are vibrant, and the photos have a unique charm that makes them perfect for scrapbooking or giving to friends on the spot. Itโs super easy to useโjust point, shoot, and print. The size is compact enough to carry around, and the design is stylish and retro. Itโs been perfect for casual events and travel, and I love that thereโs no need for ink cartridges. The built-in paper system is convenient and hassle-free. If youโre looking for a fun, instant way to capture memories, the Printomatic is a must-have. Itโs both practical and playful!
