Better Than I Thought!
I saw that this had less stars than it deserves. It works well and heats as expected on a regular circuit. When not in use, it is instantly cool. I think the price is really good.

Problematic Power Settings, CAN'T SIMMER
Starts at full-power, 1800 Watts when you first turn it on. I don't have a dedicated circuit so this frequently overloads my system and trips the breaker. Have to go outside and reset it: really annoying. They could have easily made the turnon power any lower value. The lowest power settings are 100, 500, 800 Watts. 100 is too low to simmer my food, and 500 is way too high. There needs to be finer steps at the low end, NOT the high end!

Happy with the purchase. Disappointed that the pan advertised doesn't come with a lid.
Haven't cooked with it yet. It does seem to be of good quality. The pan that comes with it does not come with a lid. I bought Momostar cookware with it. It is also of high quality and works well with it. So far very happy with the purchase.

Users need to understand induction
Review of B0DMSJM89Q - Nafewin 1800W Induction Cooktop: In reading a few of the bad reviews it's obvious that some users don't understand the concept of induction. First, understand the concept of heat -- heat is the vibration of molecules. The more violent the vibration, the higher the heat. Absolute zero is the complete absence of vibration. There are several ways of making molecules vibrate faster -- conduction, infrared radiation, microwaves, and induction are the most common in the home kitchen. Induction and microwaves are the fastest since they both directly cause the internal molecules to vibrate. Induction uses a rapidly oscillating magnetic field to cause iron molecules to vibrate, such a pot or pan containing iron. This heats the pan directly without heating anything else. The pan, in turn, heats the food via conduction. A few years ago we had extensive remodeling done on our house, including a complete gutting of the kitchen down to the studs. We chose to remain in the house, and it's a good thing we did because what was supposed to take a few months ended up taking a few years! I converted part of the upstairs office into a kitchen, using a bathroom sink to wash dishes (a horrible experience). But cooking was easy because I bought an induction cookplate like this. I got so used to using induction that I burnt my hands several times after we finally got a stove. Why? Because induction heats only the bottom of the pot, while the handles and lid remain relatively cool. We got a premium gas stove -- the flame and hot air come up and around the pot to heat the entire pot. I had to become adjusted to dealing with a hot pot again. I missed the induction heat because it is SO MUCH FASTER than a gas or electric stove. Recently I decided at the last minute to add pasta to a meal but the rest of the meal was almost ready. It takes a long time for a pot of water to come to a boil on a gas stove, even on a large burner turned up high. So, I pulled this induction cooktop out and put on a large induction-ready pot nearly full of water. Just as I already knew, it saved a few minutes in coming to a boil versus the gas stove. One thing I was curious about: this induction cooktop has temperature settings as well as heat levels, my old one had only heat levels. I was curious if this cooktop could actually control temperature, which if it could, would be a great convenience. To test, I put a 10-inch cast iron frying pan on the cooktop and chose the first temp setting of 176ยฐF and left it to heat for 10 minutes, then tested the pan with an infrared thermometer -- the maximum temp across the surface was 202ยฐ. Then I set the temp to the next setting of 230ยฐF -- the maximum temp got up to 376ยฐF. So the answer -- not really. If you've never tried an induction stove, it's really the highest tech way to heat a pan. Much faster, cleaner, more efficient, and safer.

Very useful for cooking on our patio, and during power outages
We have an all-electric home. This means, when the power goes out, which it does a few times each year (for some reason), we can use a way to continue to prepare food via our 8,000 watt gas generator. That's where this burner comes into play. This is a very nice 1800W induction cooktop. Being induction means it cooks without a hot top surface, as long as you use the proper pots and pans (ones to which a magnet will stick: NO copper, ceramic or glass, for example), and cooks a lot faster than our regular stovetop. The burner has 8 power settings to customize temperature. The touch controls are user friendly, as is the 4 hour timer. The entire burner takes up very little space, and stores away neatly in our basement. Included is a basic frypan, which is a nice, but honestly, unnecessary addition, as we already have plenty of cookware. There is as handle for easy carrying from place to place. I have also used it (with a smaller gas generator) while car camping, and on our back porch during family get togethers. 1800W means this pretty much takes all the current a standard outlet can deliver, so don't expect to run anything else on the outlet into which this burner is plugged. I just fire up the little genny when using it on our porch, so I don't have to worry about this. The instructions are not terribly well written. Truthfully, I got more useful information by looking at the listing on Amazon, and reading the reviews. All in all, this is a good, economical and portable spare burner that I recommend fully.

Very efficient
Very reliable and convenient when I don't want to move my giant cutting board off the regular stove to cook! I like that it has regular temp for saute and a fry temp if I want to fry something. It even works with other skillets that I have in case I need more area space or a wok to do stir fry! Highly recommend oh and it heats up extremely fast and if you move skillets off iron it automatically let's you know error hazardly hot.

Works, but I was not impressed with the quality.
I'm reviewing the Single Induction model. This induction cooker works fine, but I was not impressed with the quality. The cooktop comes with an economical induction pan, the instruction book (badly translated), and a magnet for checking if your pots and pans will work with the cooktop. If the magnet sticks to your pot or pan, then your pot or pan will work with induction. There is a buzz you can hear when the unit is working. And the cooktop takes a few minutes to get water to boil, even at the maximum heat setting.

I really like it
My first surprise is that it comes with the pan that's in the photos. Sure, it says so in the title, but I hadn't noticed. So when I opened the box and the first thing I saw was a pan, I thought the had sent me the wrong item. The pan itself is better than most $20-$30 pans that you find in department stores, but it isn't a premium pan. It is, however, a nice touch if you're giving the induction cooktop to someone who may not already have induction-capable cookware. They can start using the cooktop right away and buy other cookware as they see fit. It also comes with a fridge magnet (mine was a strawberry) that you can use to test if a pan or pot will work on induction cooktops. But if you're like me, you bought this for the cooktop, not for the accessories. Firstly, it operates fairly quietly. My stove hood fan is noisier than this cooktop. I haven't heard any disturbing noises from my cooktop. Yes, you hear an occasional click, but that's a normal sound with electromagnetic equipment, and it isn't very loud or frequent. I use it with Ninja NeverStick Premium cookware. What I say may or may not apply to your cookware. I found that the cookware heats up faster than on my ceramic-top range, and the heat is more uniformly distributed. The sides of the pot or pan get nice and hot, so be careful. It also maintains a steady heat, instead of giving bursts of heat and then none. One small issue, at least for Canadians, is that it only shows temperature in Fahrenheit. I'm old enough to be familiar with both systems, but someone who has known only Celsius may find this irritating. The temperature control is also very coarse. You won't get a precise temperature control. This may bother those who cook by the book, but I'm an intuitive cook, so this doesn't bother me. The unit is very compact, so it's easy to store and move around. The price was reasonable -- I found it reasonable even when I thought it didn't come with the pan -- and they offer a 10% coupon that covers most of the import fees. All in all, if this lasts, it will have been a very nice purchase and I recommend it. But I've had it only for a day. We'll see in 6 months if it continues to perform as well.
