The pan quality is great. The cake is adorable. I used the recipe that came with it and I also made one with my own recipe. The recipe with the pan turned out better but probably because it was the perfect amount of batter. Had no trouble getting the cake out if you follow the instructions of greasing and putting flour in it. Had so many compliments on the cake. Definitely recommend!

I had been wanting this cake pan for a while. Put it on the back burner kind of thing get later. Then my 'BAKE' Magazine showed up for the month and it featured this pan and some of the other Nordic ware Bee themed pans for recipes. It was a done deal and meant to BEE for me 😁 ( sorry about all the puns, I am a bee person) sprayed it really well with vegetable oil spray and a baking flour spray for a nice coat on added the cake mix and in about 30 minutes it was done and beautiful 😍 this was a Vanilla Orange zest and honey cake with a vanilla glaze. It also had Caramelized white chocolate in the middle to hold the two pieces together. My husband brought it to work and everyone loved it! The cake was easy out of the pan and easy to clean afterwards. Love it! Thanks Nordic Ware and Amazon 🍯

Baking is one area where you don't want to cheap out but often it's difficult to justify paying more than $10 for a pan you will rarely use. This pan is worth every penny.Made from forged aluminum, it's thick and weighty and ensures a consistent bake. Don't use cooking spray in this pan, instead, coat with softened or melted butter and flour. I found a soft bristle baby bottle brush was perfect to clean out all the little nooks and crannies. (Don't soak in water or put in the dishwasher)I loved this pan so much, I purchased another Nordic Ware pan. They also would look great as wall decor or as a self defense weapon, as I know I wouldn't want to be hit with this pan.

perfect pan. their recipe was delicious and the pan cooked evenly. the cake didn’t stick (i was afraid without parchment paper it would stick in the bees, but buttering and flouring worked well). turned out great for our bee themed party.

This Nordic Ware Beehive pan was well worth the money. I made a German chocolate cake and it was a huge hit at a lunch party I hosted. The cake baked quite evenly and once I trimmed off the excess cake I was able to assemble the hive without any trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again.

I was worried the batter would stick but it didn’t. Comes with a recipe and I ordered the candy bees to add. Wish it was a little larger capacity…

I was originally going to buy a cheaper version of this but after reading reviews of all, I chose this Nordikware. It is great. Be careful and DO NOT fill up the batter to the top. You should definitely leave about 1.5 inches or more below the top. Otherwise, you will have to cut off lots of cake. Use the rest of the batter for cupcakes!
