The plaque can be mounted with just a single screw or nail, there is already a pre-drilled slot for it to be hung

No it is about half tang, it goes into the black area, but not the silver area of the grip. The silver part screws on to the black part of the grip. The black part of the grip is plastic. The silver part is some sort of metal. It's a nice costume sword. It looks nice and is fun to hold. It does not seem like it is built for real combat. We have not tried sharpening it at all.

It does not come with either a swordcase or a scabbard, just the wooden plaque to hang it from. Length is unknown.
