Design Engineering Headliner - 4-Door Jeep Wrangler JK (2011-2018) Gray

Ok - let’s start with, this is not an inexpensive solution. However - it is super high quality. Comes with foam fillers to build out the channels enough so that the acoustic panels fit nice and (mostly) flat. Easy one person job - but don’t try to install without removing the top - the adhesive is too strong and fit too tight above the cross bar. So far - amazed at the difference in heat buildup (I have to park my Gladiator outside in GA heat) and - especially - cabin noise. So much quieter and a much more “tight” feel in the doors closing. Also - can’t lie I love the “new car smell” they are giving (although I realize that is toxic LOL). Get these now.

First of all, when I tried to buy this, the message "This Does not fit your Gladiator" popped up. No idea why it said that, and I nearly didn't buy it, but it DOES fit my JT. Perfectly. This is an Amazon glitch, so they need to fix that. This liner looked great in the box, and it looks great installed. It is highly recommended that the top be taken off to put this on, but I did not take it off. As a result, I have a couple of small errors, but no one will ever notice them but me. It was difficult doing, and it required considerable strong words, but I hate taking the top off. If I had to do it again, I probably would take it off, just because I like perfection. It fits great, and it looks great. I got the white, and it's hardly noticeable. A couple of the backer foam strips were a bit to long, but I just trimmed them off. I just finished the project, and haven't driven it yet, but I anticipate a much reduced sound level. I applied it in the sun (and my top is black) and I could tell a huge difference in the heat coming through as I did each panel. That alone is worth the price. This adhesive is fantastic. It's instant adhesion, so don't let it fold back on itself. Buy this liner! You won't regret it.

Fairly easy to install. Clean fit provided that you take your time and plan well. Reduced interior noise by about -5dB (tested with a meter), even at highway speeds. I am happy with the quality and the installation instructions. You could probably install this on the back panels without removing the top but it is a LOT easier and comes out cleaner taking the top off. We have not done a Montana winter yet. We'll see whether the heat isolation factor is significant or not. Definitely worth the price in my opinion. I would by it again.

These are awesome and easy to install with two people. Just be prepared to stick under soundbar with someone with small hands. We rolled the tape back for the backseat panels as we were sticking it. Would be terrible do to without help. We took the freedom panels off and did them. And did the rear seat panels with the top attached. Immediate difference in sound and temperature.

Put these in about a year ago they do every thing they advertise and more. Quiets the noise level in the truck (gladiator) do not need to go above 6 on the volume of the radio now. Can actually talk to the passengers now ( if I want to). Woul highly recommend.

I purchased this because it is one of the thickest and cheapest and had concerns due to those two factors. I am pleasantly surprised. It was very simple to install with perfect fitment, adhesion and it works! I am now able to have a conversation without raising my voice and leaning over to hear. We'll now find out if it lasts over time. Overall, for the price I am happy. The company went a little overboard with the safety stickers-there were two that said "2 person lift". It weighed less than 5 lbs.

The product was improperly packaged, and many of the pieces arrived crumbled. This caused the protective paper covering the adhesive to separate, rendering the adhesive unusable. After installation, the pieces began falling off almost immediately and would not remain in their intended locations. The only way they might stay in place would be to use a different adhesive, which could potentially damage my vehicle. Additionally, the noise reduction was nowhere near what was advertised. The improvement was minimal to nonexistent, and I also did not notice the claimed reduction in roof temperature. Overall, the product did not perform as promised and was a disappointing purchase.

The good.. Noticeably quieter in the jeep, Can tell it will make a difference with heat. Even the door shuts now make a better thunk sound.. Bad.. The direction are garbage, it was missing a single piece of insulation in the front. The panels don't quite fit right, the adhesive both does and doesn't hold them right. They are grossly over priced. Verdict.. Worth it if you do not want perfection or can at least tolerate less than perfection. Don't pay full price..

I was installing this product and made a complete user error and let the rear panel fold and stick to it self. I reached out to Design Engineering and spoke with Eric and he helped me get another pannell for the rear of my Gladiator. I can not say enough about their customer service. Service after the sale. Rare these days. Also they look great and really helped the road noise. A must buy.
