I used this kit to allow me too upgrade two Dell inspiron 3650 desktops from 8GB to 16GB on both. I used the original 8GB stick from one unit to add to the other unit because they were matched manufacturer and part numbers. Then I put these two sticks in the first unit bringing them both to 16GB ram. These memory sticks have been in place since Sept 2025 and they work quite nicely. They proved to be an awesome upgrade. Installation was normal with no issues, I'm not over locking so I can't speak to those capabilities but since this was an upgrade from Windows 10 to Linux Mint Cinnamon, I can say these two 8 year old computers now run noticeably faster and memory speed is not a limitation. These computers now run better than when they were new! I would buy these again if I had the need.

Very fast shipping. The RAM arrived within 48 hours of my placing the order and were installed without issues in my ancient Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard. I am rebuilding a dedicated-function Linux machine that needs the RAM, but not the performance of a modern game machine. This fits the bill perfectly. It is economical and is new stuff and not a used product with a sketchy history. My machine runs great with it installed and has lots of overhead so that process stay in RAM instead of using the slower SSD swap file. I will buy more if I need it.

Thought I was having RAM failure in my desktop. And I have used this PC for a few years thinking it only have 8 Gb of ram. So this was supposed to be an upgrade. Found out this is a "renewed" PC. Had 2 x 8 Gb RAM sticks in it. One of them had failed. Installed these two new sticks in and I'm back to the races.

Works okay. It didn't want to work with the memory that was already in the computer, which would have given me 24GB instead of 16GB. However, 16GB is better than 8GB. It's just a TV media/light gaming computer anyway, so 16GB of mediocre RAM is fine.
