A Child's Introduction to Natural History: The Story of Our Living Earth–From Amazing Animals and Plants to Fascinating Fossils and Gems (A Child's Introduction Series)

This is a great book to supplement learning about ecosystems. My kids loved the illustrations and there were some unique facts located throughout this book. It's easy for my kids to grab off the shelf and read on their own too.

Love the pictures and descriptions. It doesn't fit 100% with a biblical worldview though

Short version: If you want the best family-friendly intro to natural history that features non-bird dinos, get DK's "Natural History (Smithsonian)". It's everything that kind of book should be & MUCH more. Alexander's "A Child's Introduction to Natural History: The Story of Our Living Earth–From Amazing Animals and Plants to Fascinating Fossils and Gems" (henceforth AC) is the exact opposite of that in every way.You can read the rest of this review on Goodreads.
