Works like a charm on both older and new Mac/ Linux machine, I tried RHEL 10 & Mac OS Monterey. Works out of the box, better than trying Wi-Fi adapters, no compatibility issues as no installation required. Internet speed is to the maximum, best for mission critical operations.

This is kind of plug and play device, windows 11 detects it automatically no need to do any drivers installation. I am very satisfied with its speed. cable length could be bit longer.

as expected, product is awesome im using raspberry pi 4 as my router running openwrt , so its heavily used , so product is so stable , i didn't faced a single problem truly a gigabit adaptor since its gugabit ethernet so latency is 0.2-0.3 ms and has good buffer , and their is no drop of signal its plug and play device ,all you need is to plug into any device and add ethernet cable and start using internet, no need to install driver or anything and this is world best selling gigabit adaptor, so almost all devices support , like openwrt , you dont need to install driver ,openwrt already includes, so when i plugged knto raspberry pi 4 , it instantly recognised by openwrt , this make use very easy highly recommended,best value for money product, dont think about any other products, just because of few hundred cheap , you might face driver problem , stability problem my experience 1. world most selling gigabit adaptor, so no issue in driver,almost all device support it automatically, just plug and play 2. no issue in latency , im using as wan port , and its latency sensitive , and this device doest made my hope down , very good working 3. stable , in my setup , openwrt consistently pushing it , and yet its stable final words - dont think for anything other device , if you need gigabit adaptor, just go for it

Most Sony TVs are gimped with 100mbs ethernet speeds, but I wanted to maximize as much internet speed I have as possible (1000/40mbps). Wifi is pretty good, but the speeds varied quite a bit. At the time of testing, the speed tester app (search it in the Google store app on your TV), I was getting 280mbps ish. I searched online and reddit suggested this adapter and it worked! Straight plug and play! I'm now getting 900mbps+. This is a niche use case but could work for others in my situation! Note that, this fix only works for models starting from X900H onwards and updated to Android 10 supposedly. YMMV.

I use this with my MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon. Since upgrading my internet speed to a 2Gbs plan, this item handles the increase nicely.
