I bought this because I wanted a high-capacity flash drive that works with both USB-C and USB-A without needing adapters. This SanDisk drive does exactly that, and the 512GB capacity gives me plenty of room for documents, photos, videos, backups, and moving larger files between devices. The speed is the biggest reason to buy this one over a basic flash drive. File transfers are noticeably faster, especially with large folders or media files. It feels much closer to using an external SSD than an old-school thumb drive. I also like the dual-connector design. Being able to plug into newer USB-C devices and older USB-A ports makes it a lot more useful, especially if you are moving between desktops, laptops, phones, tablets, or other equipment. It is small, fast, and easy to carry. For school files, work documents, media, backups, or general everyday file transfer, this is a solid drive. Not cheap compared to basic flash drives, but the speed, capacity, and dual-connection setup make it worth it.

Wow! The minute I got it out of the box and felt that you could tell the quality just right from there. It plugs in smoothly doesn’t drag, so very exact dimensions there. extremely fast, my test show that it is much faster than I bought from other brands. Definitely a must buy price as well worth it

It worked out ok. I have a MacBook Pro and it works fine. I used this on my niece’s MacBook. It went fairly fast. I was satisfied with it. The only thing is that it got extremely hot. But nothing failed to work. It did the job ok. Size was good. Easy to use. Good value for money. Very portable. Good design. Compatible with Mac computers. Highly recommend!

Purchased this to download files and pictures on my Samsung galaxy s23 ultra. It works great , and very fast! The item is made of good quality and the 512gb gives lots of room for 100s of photos and files with lots of room to spare. It's extremely fast and I didn't have any issues with overheating. I felt it was a little pricey compared to other brands with the same amount of storage, but I'd recommend this product.

Works as described - transfer speed is really nice on both USB-C and USB 3. I'm getting 400 MB/s on my computer and realize theoretical speed and personal PC, etc. affects actual speed. Very nice to have both USB types for convenience but it is a bit bulky in size so on some laptops a bit difficult to use. Also, the packaging should clearly state this is SSD - had to research online quite a bit to confirm as I was about to return this. SSD is important.

Bought this for backing up my new PC, it is awesome I was clocking around 500Mb/S write speeds so my whole documents and photos got backed up in just a few minutes each - normally this takes hours. Also 250G is a great size, not too expensive plus plenty of capacity. The only thing I wasn't keen on is not having covers for the connectors or a way to retract. This is fine for storing in a data fire chest but not good for a key chain. definitely will buy again.

While this is a little pricey, this Sandisk Extreme Pro works. For large file transfers, mostly 350 - 400 mb/s. This depends on your computer. No problems. Reliability so far. Does get a little warm. Better than all other drives I have brought over the years. Would recommend.

This drive is certainly bigger and heavier than most drives. That being said, it is exceptionally fast and capacious. I get speeds of over 800 megabytes (not megabits!) per second. It works well on mac and PC and feels high quality. It does heat up, but doesn't seem to overheat. One downside is that only the USB C or the USB A ports are covered, but not both. I do recommend this drive, it's built well, fast, and large. I would recommend splurging on the higher capacity models as I feel like that makes more sense for a drive like this, but it depends on what you need from it. I would recommend waiting for a sale of at least below $160 which seems to happen frequently for this drive.
