I was new to trying harissa and decided to branch out. The flavor was good: slightly sweet, smoky, and tangy. I tried it by itself before using in a sauce recipe. The medium heat wasn’t very strong- so I ended up adding sriracha to my dish to up the kick. Harissa came in a glass jar, no issues with leaking or damage from transport. Seems like a good value for the money.

I ordered several flavors when they were on sale a few months ago. As somone with multiple food allergies I appreciate the limited ingredients and clear labeling. Only opened them this week and I regret waiting so long! My intent is to use them as condiments or to flavor dips and such. The cilantro blaze makes a KILLER hummus! 21g paste per 439g tin of beans results in a nice medium heat. I hope to see this brand offer more flavors of seasoning paste in the future. Highly recommend! Nit pick though I wished they used avocado or olive oil instead of canola but they are used in such small quantities it doesn't bother me enough to not buy it on repeat. I had no trouble with broken jars, well wrapped, well packed.

This is the best harissa I’ve found. Ever. It’s very spicy, which I like. The flavor is spot on, just like I’ve had in the Middle East. I rub it on veggies like eggplant and zucchini before grilling, put it on chicken, honestly I’d eat it on toast. I’ve used it to spice up bland red sauce. This could make any meal sexy. A little goes a long way, and the heat is dependent on the quantity you use. The jar came in a box and inside the box it was wrapped in cardboard protective wrap, so no issue with leakage or broken glass. I will be ordering this over and over. I follow the Mediterranean diet and this is a great way to bring some excitement to a very clean eating plan. I have recommended this to everyone I know who has a pan and a spatula in the kitchen, seriously. So yum.

Great taste and consistency.... Overpriced.

I use this mostly in rice and soups when I want more of a kick than the powder. It can change the flavor profile of things like broccoli cheese soup, mushrooms over rice or scrambled eggs. Using it elevates your dishes. It has a bit of a bite to it but I crave spicy things so it’s perfect. If you don’t like spicy things, use just a drop or two. If you like medium spicy, a bit on the end of a spoon perhaps. It’s strong so you taste it but the taste is exquisite. I highly recommend it.

So good! Want to eat it by the spoonful! We use it in chicken, pork, and beef marinades. We use it in stir-frying vegetables. We use it in soups, mac & cheese, and cream sauces. Love it!

Adds wonderful flavor to soups and stews

I just made my second purchase of Pur Harissa. My husband likes his food on the hotter side, and I like mine milder. We found this has a good balance of spice for both of us. I've made two dishes with this Harissa, and we thought both dishes were flavorful and very good. I plan on making more meals with this. The packaging was great, and my shipment came undamaged. I'm happy with my purchase.
