I haven’t heard of ‘Standard Process’ until Youtube’s Dr. Berg and Dr. Darren Schmidt mentioned them. I’ve googled and couldn’t find a negative review. Apparently, other than the parent site, Amazon is the only distributer who provides a review format for the purchased item. I have chronic Gout, it’s gotten worse in the past year. I cut down on alcohol, red meat, sugars etc - even lost 15-pounds. High uric acid runs in my family and apparently i received the lion’s share of that. I’ve been on AC Carbamide and Arginex (Standard Process) for two weeks. So far so good. Minor flare-ups have diminished; I cannot determine if it’s the change in Life-style, the use of these supplements or a combination of both. Nevertheless, my flare-up have decreased. I was recommended this product while trying to come off of a medication. I’ve heard this supplement can assist in cleansing medication from your system as well as being just good for your liver and kidney health in general. When I take it (with food, yes) sometime after it digests I begin to itch and it’s relentless. I think when I ceased to take the supplement I still continued to itch all over my body for a few more days. It’s unbearable. I could just be allergic to some of the ingredients and it may work fine for you.

I’ve used Arginex and Standard Process for 30+ years. I’ve moved recently and my chiropractor here sells them but seems to want to prescribe everything else BUT Standard Process. (Time to find a new chiropractor!) It’s kind of irritating because I KNOW Standard Process works for me. I try to go the natural route for my health before grabbing a medical prescription. I started using Arginex 30+ years ago for a bladder infection when I was pregnant with my first child. I will always have it on hand as it helps every time. Please remember when using a whole food supplement that it takes time. If you want instantaneous results go to a MD for a prescription. But if you want something that works naturally without all the crazy side effects then be prepared for it to take a little bit longer to work.
