McCook® Knife Sets, German Stainless Steel Knife Block Sets with Built-in Sharpener

I got this set for Christmas. I wanted to take my time before writing a review. I love these knives but be careful they are SHARP! They hold their edge very well. I run them through the built in sharpener once in while but not often and only a couple of strokes. I do wash them by hand, dry immediately and put them away. I see no signs of rust. I can't tell you about how they do with the dishwasher because because I haven't and will never put them in there. In all honestly, the way I care for them is so easy I"m just not willing to take the risk with something I love so much. Highly recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought these because all the knives I had in my kitchen were dule. These are great! So, great that I have sliced my finger ever time that I have used one of these knives. Buy them, just don't be clumsy.

Bought this for a friend. The knives are good quality. I like how the storage block has a built in knife sharpener.

These are SHARP, they feel heavy and durable. However I do not like the feel of the handles. You get alot of knives as well.

Sharp and sturdy enough for my daily needs. Cut the end of my thumb off three times in a the first month. The quality seems to be good for a mid-priced set. Good variety of tools, and the two kitchen scissors are a nice touch. The serrated bread knife is a bit short, however. The built in sharpener is handy because I can't use a steel. The textured handle in the all-in-one build quality is sturdy and grips well.All in all, good value for the money for a mid-price knife set.

My sister found these on Amazon when we were looking for a gift for our Mom’s birthday. They seemed to have good reviews and and at the time we were buying them, they happened to be around 40% off and around $55!(totally worth it). Our mom loved the gift and liked them even more after trying them out. She says they are “The best knives I’ve ever used and I’m almost 60!” She has been after me a few times to leave a good review, so that’s what I’m doing now. If you’re on the lookout for a quality set of kitchen knives I highly recommend trying out this set and you won’t be disappointed!

Genuinely blown away at the quality of these knives. The blades are incredibly sharp, and the handles are super comfortable in your hand, not to mention the beautiful design.
