I have been using just the sound machine inside so far for my newborn, will most likely use the plush when he is a but older. We have been using it since they one, we use the shhh sound at night and the womb or harmonica during the day. Baby settles really well at night, he will feed then I put the sound on for 20minutes and he goes right to sleep. During the day it does a great job at keeping other noises in the house at bay, so the baby can rest. I was in doubt because it is a pricey item for us but it is 100% worth it, The charge has been great, so far we have only charged when we remember and we haven’t run out of battery.

My baby startles very easily and I was doubtful this would work but it does! The shhhing combined with the heartbeat works every time to calm him back to sleep. It does also put me to sleep which isn’t good when breastfeeding at 3am! The 2 gripes I have are that it lasts 20 mins before you have to repress the button. The batteries used to die very quickly before I turned the red light off, now it lasts 2 weeks. The second is that it isn’t a pure white, it comes almost mottled beige that looks dirty to begin with, and it does collect fluff and dust very easily so have to clean it often. You can also just use the sound machine without the toy to make this easier when your baby’s too young to cuddle.

I would recommend this to any new parents. Ewan works absolute miracles on our baby. They can sometimes be a bit fussy before bedtime, but we switch Ewan on and baby will often fall asleep within 5 minutes. The red light is very soothing and the sounds are very relaxing. Plenty of choice for types of noise (our baby likes the white noise/hoover type sounds) and plenty of volume levels to select. Easy to recharge using the USB cable and battery seems to last ages once fully charged. Buy this item and help your little one settle to sleep seamlessly.

Can’t recommend Ewan enough! Bought one for my twins who kept waking each other and Ewan has worked wonders getting them back to sleep! Love everything about it from the cry sensor to the red light mimicking the womb and the range of sounds to choose from. Will be buying a second Ewan so the twins don’t have to share!

I would recommend just getting a cheap white noise machine. Ewan is a cute idea but for the money I don’t think he is worth it. If you have him on all night the battery doesn’t last, the red light doesn’t add much and it is really easy to knock the buttons when you’re taking the noise machine in and out of the sheep and then you have to try and find the particular version of white noise you’ve been using. I couldn’t get the setting that makes him start up when the baby gets unsettled to work so I just run him all night so I’m constantly charging him. The Velcro tail is a good idea for the cot but otherwise I’d say he’s not worth the price.

I have bought numerous baby products over the years in hope of making life a little easier with regards to settling and sleeping. Of course I’m always skeptical when buying as a lot of items don’t work. But this hands down was the best purchase and works very well! My baby is now sleeping in his bassinet instead of on me. Highly recommend to any new parents!

Acheté pour la première fois pour ma seconde, Ewan a permis à mon bébé d'être facilement rassurée et à facilité l'endormissement. Racheté pour la dernière elle en a fait son doudou... je l'ai principalement utilisé avec les bruits du cœur... La dernière papouilles les oreilles pour s'endormir, et les mâchoires ;) Je trouve la nouvelle version delux bien plus pratique pour le nettoyer!
