Ewan the Dream Sheep has been an absolute lifesaver for our newborn! The soft, cuddly texture is perfect for little hands, and the heartbeat and womb sounds really help soothe our baby to sleep. The gentle night light adds a comforting glow, ideal for late-night feeds without disturbing our little one too much. What I love most is the cry sensor, which activates when the baby starts crying—such a thoughtful feature for those sleep-deprived nights. I would recommend this to any new parents. Ewan works absolute miracles on our baby. They can sometimes be a bit fussy before bedtime, but we switch Ewan on and baby will often fall asleep within 5 minutes. The red light is very soothing and the sounds are very relaxing. Plenty of choice for types of noise (our baby likes the white noise/hoover type sounds) and plenty of volume levels to select. Easy to recharge using the USB cable and battery seems to last ages once fully charged. Buy this item and help your little one settle to sleep seamlessly.

Start with the positives: - There is a good choice of noises to select from. - Doubling up as a toy in later life is a big plus and gets the extra star from what would have otherwise been 3/5 Now the not so good points: - The quality of the audio is poor, tinny and rattles - There are only 2 options on volume, which dictates where to keep the toy in relation to the baby - I can’t decide if the functionality is too complicated or too simplistic. Pressing one button to cycle through options with no way of telling which option you are playing (outside of watching their YouTube videos), couple with double clicking the same button to set the cry sensor on or off - Speaking of the cry sensor, this is hit and miss. I’ve not found it to pick up on our baby crying during the night and turn itself on. We do however have to use an ongoing white noise throughout the night so this may interfere with that. - The reason for a 2nd white noise, is this one only lasts 20minutes and will only trigger for the 4 hours following that. Personally I think restricting this to 2 hours would suffice if branded purely for helping with naps, trying to help with longer stretches of sleeping at night is therefore pointless if aiming for the mythical 6-8 hours. Conclusion: This soother is probably ideal for newborns up to 6 months. Personally, the £40 price point I feel is all a little steep. I think £30 would be a fairer middle ground for a well branded item, given its flaws.

I fell in love with this when I was pregnant but thought £40 is a lot of money for a sheep that plays sounds. Ended up getting one and it's worth every penny. This one is machine washable which is a bonus! When my little one was born I played the womb sounds for her to try and sooth her at bed time, she wasn't fussed, i was so annoyed, thinking that I'd wasted my money, changed it to white noise and it calmed her down and helped her settle to sleep every time. After a few months I got sick of hearing the white noise and changed it to the little song, my baby loves it, once she hears the song she knows it's time for sleep, she snuggles him too which is very sweet. This one has a smart cry setting, where when your baby cries it will hear it and play the noise you have selected, this is great but would wait until your baby is in their own room as it goes off to loud noises (eg, door banging, husbands deep voice if he speaks loudly). Also I would advise purchasing rechargeable batteries! when using on smart cry setting, batteries only last a couple of days, with smart cry turned off they can last up to a month. I would definitely recommend, my little one is nearly a year and she still loves Ewan, he has helped us so much to get sleep over the past 11 months.

This little sheep is amazing, I have bought 4 of them over the last year, for my friends babies and family members babies and they all love it! That's why I keep buying them because they can't recommend it enough. And the new version is even better because it's now rechargeable, whereas the last ones where battery operated. Definitely worth a buy!

Acheté pour la première fois pour ma seconde, Ewan a permis à mon bébé d'être facilement rassurée et à facilité l'endormissement. Racheté pour la dernière elle en a fait son doudou... je l'ai principalement utilisé avec les bruits du cœur... La dernière papouilles les oreilles pour s'endormir, et les mâchoires ;) Je trouve la nouvelle version delux bien plus pratique pour le nettoyer!

Helped with transitioning my baby into her own room and crib. I dreaded it but its been a great ease and when she wakes through the night for comfort I will soother her and turn on ewan and the heart beat sound sends her straight back to sleep
