Numberblocks are wonderful for child learning
I have a now 4 year old who used to watch Numberblocks around when he was 2 and 3 years old, and that show did much more than his school did to make him proficient at adding numbers together and count beyond 100. So I was very interested in this educational toy based on the show that he used to watch.First it's a very simple and easy toy to start using. Your child will probably need some light assistance to get started but once they do they can run with it mostly on their own. There is an instruction manual for the parent to read, however the first few cards (which increase progressively in difficulty) are simple enough that the instructions are not necessary to get going. An important note, even if you understand what to do on the cards provided just by looking at them, many of the later cards have suggestions written in the instruction booklet for approaches to take with certain cards (for example use 5-blocks only) which can improve the overall learning experience and the challenge. The blocks are good quality, smooth wood without any sharp edges, and are colored and look exactly like the characters from the show. The cost is a little higher than some other toys or games, so I think the value comes from the amount of time spent with it. If as a parent you will spend a small but consistent amount of time with your child on this game I think it will pay off. This game is enjoyable for a child so it's not hard to engage them, but it's not exciting enough that they will keep coming back on their own night after night like some other less educational toys might. Your child will also need some occasional help or guidance if they get stuck on certain parts.I do think this toy is more fun and engaging if you and your child have watched the show before. I was able to use some of the phrases and learnings that I knew from the show as I watched him play and that definitely made the experience more fun and engaging for him.Overall highly recommended, as long as you are willing to put a small amount of time into the toy alongside your child.

Nice blocks and cards
My son loves number blocks so I got this to add to his collection. He likes the other toys and games, and he loves these as well. I like the quality of the wooden blocks and the cards that come with it. Great educational tool for young kids, and it comes with a storage bag.

Cute and educational
These wood blocks correspond with a kid's TV show. The set not only includes the 28 wooden number blocks, but also 20 math/brain teaser/activity cards. The blocks come in a drawstring bag, and the packaging and artwork is very well done. It would make a great gift for a child!

Love these!
Our little one is 5 going on 6 and is really into the number blocks right now. I picked these up and they nearly screamed when they saw them. We immediately played for over an hour filling out the boards and counting together. It was a great time for everyone, and they are learning to do math now!

Easy win if your kids like the show.
I've got a 2 kids learning math (5&3) and they both love using these. Obviously the 5 year old is.gaining more but the 3 year old is getting a handle on the basics and this helps keep it entertaining.

Super cute way to learn numbers for little kids!
I got this because my 2, 4, and 6 year olds all love Number Blocks and I though this would be a nice addition to our toys and games, but they ended up really loving it and learning from it which was so great!I will say, I think this game is a bit simple for our 6 year old, but for our 2 and 4 year old this is going to be great for learning all kinds of numbers and counting, so I'm excited to have them keep using it more!I give this a 10/10, definitely recommend, it's a great learning board game from a great company at a very reasonable price!

Starts simply, but the exercises move into higher skills
I’m using this hand2mind Numberblocks Wooden Building Blocks Activity Set with an almost three year old to practice numbers, colors, counting, matching, and spacial awareness. The numberblocks and activity mats are all really well made, and can be used in a lot of ways. While the numberblocks themselves go up to only five, the activities include higher numbers and advanced challenges, which involve creatively fitting multiple blocks together to make larger numbers or figures. The included instruction guide helps with understanding the exercises on the mats, as well as providing a variety of suggested activities, like incorporating skip counting, learning about shapes and 3D shapes, and creating patterns. It also has a visual answer key for some of the more difficult puzzles. So far we are working on simple matching exercises and games, and when my daughter is tired of following my prompts, she begins to play with the blocks for awhile in her own way. I like that this is a set that can grow with her for years as she reaches new skill levels, and has a lot more activities than I initially expected!
