Came with brake fluid and parts cleaner, fit without an issue. Just a nice complete kit and looks good too. Stops without an issue. Too soon to notice excessive dust but no noise issues so far. Seems solid. Overall impressed

This brake kit for my Jeep JKU was excellent. It came with all the necessary parts, along with enough brake cleaner to properly clean and prep all the rotors, and enough brake fluid to complete the full bleeding process at the end. Everything needed for the install was included, which made the job straightforward. This was a brand new install, but I have used Detroit Axle parts on other vehicles in the past and have always been satisfied with their performance. The brakes now work so well on my Jeep JKU that if you are not careful, it will put you into the dashboard. The stopping power is impressive, especially considering the price point. I am grateful for the quality of parts they provide at an affordable price. As a side note, some reviewers mention squeaking. In my experience, that is most likely due to installation issues, such as improperly seated clips or failing to apply grease correctly to both the guide pins and the brake pad tabs where they contact the calipers. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and will continue to use their products. This kit is a solid, affordable alternative to much more expensive options.

I was genuinely impressed by this Detroit Axle rear brake pad set—especially for the price. The pads offer an exact OE fit, matching the factory mount points perfectly without any fuss or adjustment needed. Installing them was straightforward, and they seated just like the originals. One pleasant surprise: the kit also includes brake grease, a thoughtful touch that most other brands skip. Having that grease on hand made lubing the slider pins and backing plate so much easier and cleaner—not to mention it likely helps reduce noise and promote smoother pad movement right from the get-go. Performance-wise, the initial pedal response was slightly grabby—typical for new ceramic pads—but after a gentle bedding-in run, the braking felt solid, smooth, and confident. Detroit Axle’s premium ceramic pad formulation delivers strong bite without being overly harsh. Overall, this is a standout value: precise OE alignment, quality materials, and the added bonus of grease make this kit a great pick for anyone wanting quality without overpaying.

THIS GUY DOES!!! I purchased these and had them installed at my trusted mechanics shop. I was very apprehensive about putting these on my Highlander simply because of the unknown quality. Well, I will continue to put Detroit Axle products on my vehicle. I am hard on brakes and these have been some of the best brakes/rotors I have used. No squeal, looks cool as hell and will stop on a dime and give you nine cents change back. For the money I spent, I simply could not have asked for anything more. My expectations were met AND exceeded. One more thing, even if you think your vehicle isn't "cool enough" for this type of braking system, the cool factor IS one thing, the braking and stopping a large SUV when it counts is another. These are designed to stop faster and keep themselves cooler than your OEM brakes (And even your "upgraded" brakes at your local parts house). Heat is the biggest enemy of brakes, keeping them cooler makes them perform longer and better.

I really struggle with this one. Start with the parts, because they ARE good parts. Put them on a 2007 Tahoe, 2wd, 5.3 FFI. Rotors are well made and fit like a glove. Pads and clips were a perfect fit and looked well made, I'll have to see how long they last, but I have high hopes. Stopping performance is 110% improved over stock. Actually pretty amazed at the difference in a truck I've put 260k on. The problem is the seller. Ordered them on a saturday, said they'd be delivered the following Tuesday through Thursday. When they hadn't showed up end of day Friday I checked the tracking, which said basically the label was created and that was it. I sent the seller a message asking if they actually intended to ship them. They responded Saturday and said according to the shipping they were en route and would be delivered "on time" the following Thursday. Ignoring that's a week after they were supposed to show up, I watched the tracking until they were picked up from te seller on Monday. They shipped them out in response to my message. So they not only flat out lied to me, but god knows how long it would have been before they shipped if I hadn't reached out. Not impressed with the seller, but the parts are awesome and a great value!

Good quality parts was impressed with the durability.

I own a small business and do brakes and rotors a lot. After every job I do, I test drive the vehicle to ensure everything is working and feels correct. When I stopped initially the brakes and rotors made a horrible grinding noise. It was to the point I questioned if I did something wrong, but I’m very thorough. I drove and braked fast like I always do on any job afterwards. After about 1.5-2 miles everything settled in and sounded and operated normal. It’s been months now and everything still works perfectly. Not sure if they maybe had a slight coating or something that needed worn off, but it’s also not uncommon to have a little brake noise the first few miles until all the new parts seat together nicely. I just felt this was extremely excessive. I’ve also used these exact same parts on other vehicles and did not have the same noise experience. Maybe it was a fluke? But they work great.
